Been writing songs since the mid 70's whilst playing bass & drums in various bands (the first one was a punk band) and digitally writing since 2006. Retired now, so much more time for having fun with music :) It's just a hobby for me these days; Soundcloud is just a great place to share music & connect with people who have the same interests. Philleann (pronouced PHILLY-ENN) is a mash up of my name Phil and one of the instruments I play, the Uilleann Pipes.  I also play the Whistle and Accordion.
