Wow...opening with choral sounds is stunning.  What a soundscape of traditional instruments.  I feel like I am exploring the woodland in Ireland.  Amazing!!!!

Oh this is cinematic and then some! But who makes these kinds of movies anymore? Well they should, and one's playing out behind my eyeballs now!

Golden Moment

Since “Particle Guitar” over a year ago, Steve and I have written and performed many new songs together.  And we’ve formed a new band called “Korima” which will soon release its debut EP: “Into Your World”.
 
Along the way, as Korima, we’ve created some short songs.  Not excerpts but, rather, complete pieces to be enjoyed briefly on their own - or as connectors exploring the relationships between songs.
We’d like to showcase some of them here.  This is the first one up: White Sail.  We hope you enjoy it!

When I first heard this I instantly picked up a  blusey mid eastern flavour to it and decided to pick up on that theme. I used Pauls track "Remember" in it's entirety with no edits to do some post production work around it, picking up on that eastern vibe I was getting !! I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did making it.

Philleann (pronouced PHILLY-ENN) is a mash up of my name Phil and one of the instruments I play, the Uilleann Pipes.  I also play the Whistle and Accordion.

I'm a Brit now residing in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I'm also a member of Bellow Bridge a traditional celtic folk band.
