U.K. based Alternative/Rock band V for Ventura formed in Eastbourne, England in 2014. Taking influence from a variety of bands and artists such as Skindred, Sum 41, Blink-182 and Four Year Strong, the groups meaty guitars, big and bouncy drums and smooth vocal lines leave little to be desired.

On 21st January 2016, the band consisting of Sarah Smith (Vocals/Guitar), Jerry Lowis (Lead Guitar/Backing vocals), Dan Halbard (Drums/backing vocals) and Sam Breach (Bass) released their first independent self-produced E.P. “Throw You Through The Roof”. The band are now in the process of writing their second E.P. to be released early 2017.

After the release of their E.P. “Throw You through the Roof”, the band also started work on a music video for the track “Throw You Through The Roof”, a song that had been played on BBC introducing: The South. The Music video was released on 9th September 2016, both this and the E.P. was entirely self-produced by the band, from the writing and artwork of the E.P. to the filming and editing of the video.

Flat Battery was formed by Robert Rumney and Liam Wiser in 2005. They made one album together (Liam on vocals/guitar and Rob on programming/sampling/production), entitled "Hello, I am an ashtray", and Robert contributed to the tracks "Stone" and "Pu$y" on the second unfinished album "Ikonoklazm". "Stone" eventually found its way onto "Intermission", a short collection of works done at random intervals.

(Additional credits on "Hello, I am an ashtray" on the track "E-Malgamate" go to Ariel Wertlen Spilkin [guitars], Marco Mario Belloni [vocals in the second verse] and Robert Rumney [ending rap])

After producing his last track "Stone" with Flat Battery, Rob moved on in 2006 to later become well-known in SA acts such as Twelv & Thesis, LSD Influence, Biscope and of course his own solo act Twelv.

Liam continues on the project Flat Battery solo with the occasional collaboration. It's mainly a "just for fun, when there's time" sort of project. Always up for a collaboration with fun, creative people!
