Tdesu, full-time music producer and DJ based in Toronto on Up Records' artist roster, has gained international attention for his remixes of timeless classics and current-day hits blending ear-catching melodies with dance genres from around the world. At over 1 million streams, his tracks have been featured on major platforms such as Boiler Room, Apple Music, Soulection, Rinse FM, On The Radar, & Aimé Leon Dore. Always reading the room—from high-octane dance floors to late-night lounges to daytime functions—his sets are a combination of intentional preparation and purposeful improvisation, shifting through elements of club, R&B, hip hop, jazz, soul, the Neptunes sound and in-the-pocket grooves to curate the best vibe at every moment. Across 9 years of djing and 12 years of music production, he has toured numerous cities including Los Angeles, New York, and Montreal. In 2024, he completed his 3rd Canadian tour and a Central American debut in Mexico City and Costa Rica. He was also the sojourn Festival contest slot winner and released his 4th volume of edits and remixes.

What began as a high school nickname used to describe his change in demeanor once the bell rang, 'Classroom Craig' is now a nod to his studious and curious approach to life and making music.

Listener, thinker, feeler, writer and creator, Craig’s first love was hip hop. That led to a journey through time and layers of the genre’s source material. What remains is a passion for all things funky, soulful, groovy, and psychedelic. Now, through the lens of a beat maker, he fuses these influences together through his own filter and capabilities.

Each opportunity to create is received with gratitude, as this former back of the class bookworm does it for the love of it.
