DJ Sophia Rocks is a 17-year-old professional DJ shaking up the entertainment world. With over a decade of experience behind the decks, she’s brought her talent, energy, and crowd-connecting style to NBA, WNBA, and NFL arenas, major music festivals, celebrity events, and national brand activations across the country.

A standout in every sense, Sophia has served as guest DJ for the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden for five consecutive seasons—making history as their youngest-ever guest DJ at just 11 years old. She has also performed for the Baltimore Ravens for three consecutive seasons and became the youngest DJ to take the stage at Firefly Music Festival during its 10th anniversary. Her growing list of career highlights includes electrifying sets at MetLife Stadium, PlayersTV events, and even a special performance at the White House.

DJ Sophia Rocks has shared her sound at celebrity events for artists including Chris Brown, Usher, Jamie Foxx, and Erykah Badu. At just 11 years old, she became the youngest DJ ever to perform live on Sway in the Morning on SiriusXM’s Shade 45 and the youngest DJ to mix for LL Cool J’s Rock The Bells Radio—further showcasing her versatility in blending classic throwbacks with modern hip hop.

Her impact extends far beyond music. Sophia partnered with Dove and The CROWN Act to help end hair discrimination, was honored by the CROWN Awards for her advocacy, and served as the official DJ for the event’s afterparty.

As a congenital heart defect survivor, Sophia is also deeply committed to giving back. She was recognized as both a DJ and speaker at the American Heart Association’s 100th Anniversary and continues to support initiatives that empower youth and uplift communities.

Faux Paz is University of Maryland's premier co-ed a cappella group. We were founded in 1993 and have been making music ever since. We regularly compete in the International Championship Of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA's) and we recently placed 3rd in the 2016 ICCA Finals.
