Whilst club events and music festivals around the world may have come to a halt, there’s no stopping the undeniable Haŵs party taking place inside this hefty slice of wax. The Haŵs crew once again come correct with their 11th release, and the 3rd edition of their V/A volumes. Their dominant streak waxes anew with zero sign of waning, as they unleash 4 original pearlers into the outside world. Names all too familiar in the scenes they inhabit, Rudolf C, Lisene, DJ Life and Nathan Pinder combine their comprehensive skillsets for your unending pleasure.

The A2 track is ‘Time 2 Bump’ by Lisene, and if that kick drum doesn’t define ‘bump’ then we need a new sonic dictionary. Elongated acid permeates a sweeping groove, sitting atop a mechanized vocal of malicious design and destructive intent.

Right of left? Neither direction looked particularly inviting, but they had to pick one. Indecisiveness always reared its head here, so they'd leave it up to chance again; a toss of a coin and then a flick of the indicator. Routine and ritual had once ruled their every day, so now spontaneity dictated everything. They didn't know where they were headed but it was guaranteed it would better than where they'd started.

Kalahari Oyster Cult's next outing is something of a special one for the Amsterdam-based label. Across four tracks, they compile the works UK composer and producer Dominic Glynn, under his various guises: one track as Luke Warmwater, one from his Fluid moniker and the other two as Syzygy, the duo he formed with fellow producer Justin McKay. While two of the tracks were originally released via Glynn's own No Bones Records back in the 90s, the other two are getting their first road test on 'The Tri-Phase' EP, which is a window into his evolution as a producer.

Our pick up here is Danish producer Kasper Marott with the swirling 'Bleep', cutting a path of doped-up, funky exhilaration across the dance floor. Drawing in a raging pool of acid and 8-bit tropes, Marott boasts unmatched skills when it comes to harnessing hella hectic solar-powered grooves.

NAFF label head Priori contributes a hard-hitting remix of the title track, apt for the early hours and timed to perfection as the world slowly escapes the monotony of pandemic life.

The b-side plays host to two versions of the thought-provoking 'Infinite Lifetimes', a blissful journey through electronic euphoria.

Dance music’s most notorious producer “Unknown Artist” returns for remix duties for the final track of the record. Straight to the point its four four and tempered groove, understated ravey percussion and spacey melodies expertly amalgamates what made Mantissa 001 so unique with what makes 002 so special.

Seoul-based duo Two Tone Shape return to Honey Badger Records for their second EP, following 2020's Fantastic Machines. Made up of long-standing house producer Wooseok Choi and Minseop Lee, who's output revolves around UK Bass and French electronic music, when the pair come together they pair their shared love of Detroit House and UK electronics - influences that are ever-present on their sophomore release Every Minute. Choi is in charge of the synthesizers while Lee takes care of the drum machines, and the results are a batch of five hypnotic house tracks full of momentum and force.

Comprised of Furious Frank and Dylan Batelic, the Sunflower Aquarium duo shares their debut album. The debut LP from duo Sunflower Aquarium offers a full spectrum bloom into the electronic ecosystem. Dylan Batelic (Paper-Cuts) and Thomas Martin (Furious Frank) fuse together for a 7 track collection of low-slung immersive deepness, embodying a cycle of life via the ebbs and flows of sonic seasonal evolution. A collaboration of cyber synthesis; written simultaneously Melbourne through Adelaide during late 2021, the result a refined yet spontaneous take on dubbed downtempo through to driving dance deviance.
