Audio Noir has had a strong and steady string of releases since his debut in 2013 on Bonzai Records. He has gone on to have releases on Bonzai Progressive, Green Martian, JOOF and Drizzly before the track “Piranha” landed into the Perfecto demos inbox.

The original is a dark, twisting progressive track, which has a strong old school element from the gated pads and memorizing bassline.

Philthy Chit (fast becoming the ‘go to’ guy for progressive sounds) is on hand to bring us his distinct blend of music with a strong remix that has seen early support from Above & Beyond (GT121) and Paul Oakenfold in his Full On Fluoro radio show.

This package continues the Black ethos perfectly!

Audio Noir - Piranha (Philthy Chit Remix)

Exactly 50 releases ago (PRFCT017), Perfecto Records saw the of “The Heart Speaks”, Kenneth Thomas’ monster vocal collaboration with Colleen Riley.

This re-release sees an update courtesy of Art Deko who adds his unmistakable high-class production, fresh from his successful revisioning of Paul Oakenfold and Angela McCluskey’s “You Could Be Happy” which saw support from the likes of Tiesto, Michael Woods, Cosmic Gate and Tritonal to name but a few.

Causing a stir in the progressive scene (in the more traditional sense of the genre) is Philthy Chit who brings us a far darker take on the vocal and an altogether more progressive trance based remix and an evil one at that.

Last but definitely not least, after bubbling away for some time and having stand out releases on the likes of Anjunadeep and his own label Ifonika, Roddy Reynaert excels with his remix, bringing a nu-disco / progressive house sound.

A fantastic package covering a multitude of styles that will satisfy the most eclectic electronic music connoisseur!

The internationally acclaimed DJ, producer, radio host, and label owner Darin Epsilon is often referred to as a leader of the Progressive & Tech House scene. His Perspectives radio show and podcast, along with his frequent guest appearances on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio allow him to reach tens of thousands of listeners on a regular basis.

It’s fair, and not too big headed, to say that Perfecto Black is one of the most exciting progressive labels at the moment; delivering a blend of progressive trance and house that is being heavily supported by the likes of Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Paul van Dyk, Grum, Cosmic Gate, Solarstone and many more.

For the 9th release, we bring back Philthy Chit with a monster track called “Reflect” a beautiful, if not perfect representation of what Perfecto Black is all about.

As if it couldn’t get any better, we add the one and only,s progressive superstar, Gai Barone on remix duties to give us one of his two special takes on the original! We’ll be keeping the other one under wraps for now!

If you like quality progressive, we really don’t think it can get better than this!!

Since bursting onto the scene in 2010 with huge support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, John Digweed and Dave Clarke, Ireland’s Ian O'Donovan has gone on to achieve great feats as an artist. Ian has forged a unique style within the techno scene, blending a touch of the past with his melodic sound and moulding it into place with top level production.  We are delighted to welcome him to the decks with a truly stunning mix for Perfecto Black Radio.
 
His tracks have found homes on iconic imprints such as Kevin Saunderson's KMS in Detroit, John Digweed's burgeoning Bedrock Records, Christian Smith's Tronic and Sasha's Last Night on Earth label. Ian has reworked classics like Inner City's 'Good Life' and collaborated with legends like John Digweed along with a string of top solo releases, which have won favour with industry titans like Richie Hawtin and Carl Cox.  
 
After standout releases on KMS and Detone, 2015 sees Ian O'Donovan's stock once more on the rise, fuelled further by signings to huge techno labels like Adam Beyer’s Drumcode and Carl Cox’s Intec; an indication that this timeless producer is only now entering his stride. With an arsenal of dance-floor weapons developed over a decade by his side, Ian is committed to bringing his dj sets to the world, taking music lovers on an intricate journey both into the artist’s mind and to a place of musical inspiration.

Ahead of their forthcoming EP on Perfecto Black, "Ventura/ Blame", we proudly welcome special guests Trilucid & Alex Collings to Perfecto Black Radio. 

Trilucid is a collaboration between two incredibly passionate and unbelievably talented individuals, Andy MacDougall and Hilton Caswell. Formerly one of Andy MacDougall’s solo projects, Trilucid became a joint venture in 2013, following four years of the duo sharing studio space together. A shared love of soaring riffs and driving grooves established common musical ground, with Pryda, Markus Schultz and Mat Zo namechecked as their key contemporary influences. Their tracks have had huge success and global support, and we are proud to welcome them to Perfecto Black. 

Alex Collings is an incredibly talented DJ and producer, with a wealth of experience behind the decks. A veteran of the superclub era of the early naughties, Alex spent several years honing his skills across a number of genres as a resident of Es Paradis in Ibiza, and then travelling the world as a resident for global superclub Slinky. Philthy Chit is a name that is rapidly becoming recognised in the world of progressive house. With releases on Perfecto Records, Perfecto Black, Saturate Audio, Black Hole Recordings, Bonzai Progressive, Philthy Chit productions have received support and radio plays from the likes of Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, Gabriel & Dresden, Aly & Fila, Danny Tenaglia, John 00 Fleming, Ferry Corsten, M.I.K.E. Push, Airwave, Gai Barone, Solarstone, Max Graham and many more. 

Having drawn the attention of major artists and record labels worldwide, Phil is now signed to the world renowned Perfecto Records in his role as A & R for Perfecto Black, along with his continued involvement with Bonzai Records.

Having grown up listening to classic trance and real progressive music, his sound is heavily influenced by pioneers such as Sasha, Digweed, Nick Muir, along with current outstanding producers like Gai Barone, Petar Dundov and Guy J, keeping the progressive sound with a trance element. 

Following his success of 2015, he has started 2016 as he means to continue. Phil hosts the monthly Perfecto Black Radio Show on Digitally Imported, showcasing the best in progressive and new Perfecto Black releases, welcoming the biggest names in the scene as guests on the show. 
May saw Phil's first release under his new alias Phil Martyn, a project enabling him to showcase his love for deeper, darker more progressive sounds. With more solo productions and further remixes scheduled for release on Perfecto, Bonzai Progressive and more, 2016 looks to be another exciting year.
