Derived from the Latin “Ultimae Terrae,” meaning “the furthest places,” the name Ultimae reflects a profound theme of exploration. This concept is at the heart of Ultimae Records, an ambient music record label and publisher dedicated to transporting listeners to the outer edges of experience through sound and offering a space for introspection and discovery within the vastness of the mind and beyond.

In 1999, Vincent Villuis and Sandrine Gryson, also known as AES Dana and Mahiane, united over a shared passion for the immersive world of electronic music. This collaboration led to the birth of the label. Initially envisioned as a musical portal, Ultimae’s mission was to explore and disseminate the diverse expressions of Ambient music far and wide through the production of records and the establishment of an online shop.

Over the years, Ultimae has expanded beyond its original scope, evolving into a multifaceted company with sound design, post-production, and mastering studios based in Lyon, France, along with professional services in publishing, music licensing, and synchronization.

ZERO CULT is the project of Emil Ilyayev from Israel, who has been producing electronic music for well over a decade. The project was born in 2003 after discovering the new sound of downtempo and chillout music in the underground scene. Emil's music has unique sound,that combines mysterious melodies and vibes with downtempo beats.His debut album "Art of Harmony" was described as a best chill albums of the 2006.During the years,Emil played on the biggest festivals and parties around the world.

Combining carefully designed textures with dreamlike atmospheres and a solid rhythmic structure, Zero Cult sends us on a new journey through his original musical universe. His discography is a collection of contemporary ambient gems, demands frequent listening and will surprise you with new sounds bursting out from nowhere. This is intelligent, emotional and powerful music.

We offer extensive learning programs on our sacred island covering topics such as Psychedelics, Psychology, society, religion, permaculture, sustainability, ancient cultures, Shamanism and dance.
Our dance floors are sacred spaces meant for self-expression and personal growth. This is where people connect as one living organism with the music being the binding factor. As soon as you step onto it you can feel that you enter an energy that is an entity on it’s own.
Another binding factor is our mutual love for visionary art, you’ll find it all over the festival in several art galleries, forests and on the dance floors.

Rasmus Moses Joergensen: Drummer and musician since the day he could walk and played many years in several bands and projects till he learned the ways of the force and electronical music.
Released on labels such as: Zenon, Groove Zone, Indigo, Crotus, Velvet Inc, Novatekk, Plusquam, Electric Power Pole, Triple Drop, Mikela Bella, Brainwarp, Anarkick, TigerEyes, Wolftrap, Huldra, Ovnimoon, Glitchy Tonic, Digital Mind and Cosmic Conspiracy.
Got the first album released in 2002 with the duo-projeck “Loopiter” and a few compilations following. First solo-release was on Zenon in 2004 and really opened up for he’s so-called “funky minimal forest style” and many releases followed and the gigs builded up. started the wellknown duo-project “Bufo” and released album in 2006.

Jonny Outsider AKA Janos Kornics is half German and half Hungarian and grew up in Berlin. He heard his first jungle and rave tracks at the age of 10 in the early ’90s, because his father recorded mixes from Berlin Radio Kiss FM on cassettes!

At the beginning of 2000, he was living in Budapest and that’s where he experienced his first Drum & Bass parties. After that, there was no turning back! Outsider fell in love with the broken beats and basslines and quickly taught himself how to produce tracks. His life then went in a slightly different direction, so nothing came of it at first.

However, in 2011 he took more time for music production and focused a lot more on perfecting his art. Outsider gained confidence and his tracks got better and better. In 2018, he sent a demo to Monita from Skeleton Recordings, who featured his awesome track ‘Maze’ on’ ‘USB Part 1’. Monita directly contacted Section and that’s where Outsider‘s story begins.

Following on from his revered debut EP ‘Dungeon’, Outsider demonstrates his versatility with his deep and emotive follow-up EP; ‘Emotions’. 

His tracks are influenced by many artists like Ray Keith, Trace, BCUK, C4C, Ed Rush, Optical, Dom, Digital, Spirit, Total Science, Loxy, Ink, Dylan, Kemal, Technical Itch, Dillinja, Calibre, Marcus Intalex, Break, Fracture, Breakage, Need For Mirrors etc...
