<p>The next release on the always upbeat Phobiq coming from a very special duo LowKey and Kardinal. The title track &#8216;The Sentinel&#8217; is quite energetic from the beginning. It builds with some pretty smooth drum patterns and continues with a heavy bassline which turns this production into a pure winter anthem. Next on is the remix by Thomas P. Heckmann and this production beefing up with some twinkling synth patterns. The track provides a bit groovier feeling and makes this one a spatial take. Closing this exquisite release is &#8216;Black Orchid&#8217;. This track is more focused to a tougher sound mixed up with seductive bassline creating a dark flow. Stunning stuff. This is another amazingly release here from Phobiq and from the boys LowKey and Kardinal.</p>

The German-Estonian duo DONT BLINK produce a relentless tech sound, shaped by influences from techno, progressive, and indie dance. Since breaking through in 2018 with INSANE on Nervous Records, they’ve delivered releases on STEREOHYPE, Tomorrowland Music, Repopulate Mars, AETERNA, The Myth of NYX, and their own imprint LOW CEILING, home to their 2023 debut album THE STATEMENT. Their prolific output and rising profile have fuelled tours across South America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Australia. 

Their debut on Truesoul is a high-octane dancefloor trip. ‘ACTIVATOR’ is a pumping late-night roller marked by a cheeky succession of vocal rhymes. DONT BLINK share: “We wanted to create a track that immediately cranks up the energy and picks up everyone straight away. ACTIVATOR was the 
perfect concept, and luckily it rhymes with just about anything!” 

It's accompaniment ‘STIMULANTS’ delivers on its promise, a full-bodied dancefloor workout packed with plenty of energetic tension thanks to a wired vocal sample. “The idea for ‘STIMULANTS’ came to us when playing frisbee at the beach in Bali. One of our young team mates has ADHS and we were talking about Ritalin and Adderall and the different effects on the brain and concentration. Her response: ‘We all need stimulants’. It really stuck so we had to record the vocal and make it into a 
track!”

<p>The Slovenian powerhouse known as LxS makes his phobiq debut and &#8220;Feed The Cat&#8221; kicks things off with a steamrolling rhythm section and otherworldly synths slapped over a tougher-than-though bassline. The title track is up next, offering a bit more bounce and picking up momentum, as the ever-rising arrangement transforms the affair into a climactic, chromed-out ride. On &#8220;Distant Drums&#8221;, the frantic programming keeps everyone on their toes, letting off-kilter samples take center stage alongside menacing stabs. Closing up, we have the low-end heavy &#8220;Soul Fever&#8221;, based on percussive elements once again, while busy cymbals add fuel to the fire.</p>

From Claude VonStroke: "I had dinner with Breach in London and he told me "Hey, I have a track that is really dirtybird. I would put it out but its really sounding right for you guys." I took this with a grain of salt but then I heard "Let's Get Hot" and I found out he was right. It's got the swagger and the sound. It makes girls grind their asses into boys crotches on the dancefloor. Perfect. Signed.

So I then asked him to make something even more sexual, thinking it would be ages before I got something back. 10 days later the A-side came back to me as a 2 minute clip while i was on the train to warehouse project in Manchester. I liked it so much that i edited it on the train to stretch it out to 5 minute. As expected, it slayed the room and the final version Breach has delivered is one of the best records of the year in my opinion. With the simple title of "Jack" you can see for yourself when you play it. This is the real deal.
