The stomping title track kicks things off, boasting looped-out vocals and the most menacing of stabs. &#8220;Nyx&#8221; continues in the same vein, relying heavily on the riffs and acting as the perfect precursor to &#8220;Nortia&#8221; where we are treated to haunting synths but with a more stripped-down approach. Closing up, &#8220;Phyxis&#8221; pushes the melodic overtones even further, with sneaky electronics interlaced throughout the clever arrangement.</p>

When Pig&Dan decided to join forces, they began a truly prolific production schedule establishing their reputation as producers of pulsating electronic music that straddled dark house and high-energy techno, whilst creating their signature style of twisted and experimental breakdowns. Since those early days, they have created a repertoire that not many can match and have constantly been releasing their music on the most respected labels and playing at the best events worldwide.

Pig&Dan follow up to their outstanding first EP on Drumcode with ‘Chemistry’. Compromising of three tracks the mood fluctuates with each record to create a well-balanced, dynamic EP. Chemistry is a dreamy listening platform that mixes cyclic synth lines and stabs to crescendo into a late night imagination. The other two tracks are on the harder tip with their thunderous kick drums and disorientated sounds that provide a different edge to the EP with a harder, peak time sound.

<p>Kostas teams up with Durtysoxxx for these two juicy slices and the synth-led title tracks kicks things off with all the focus locked on to the riff of epic proportions. As the affair unfolds, rumbling low-end and menacing stabs complete the ride. The stomping &#8220;Extract&#8221; is up next and takes a different approach as cut-up vocals intertwine with acidic stabs and the rhythm section provides the addictive bounce.</p>

Spanish star Alberto Ruiz, debuts on Voltage with his remix on Skober's "I need it Raw" designating his version with his own personal rhythmical style, full of energy and driving beats. 
Voltage label boss Anna V. has created a super hot, percussive and speedy version, loaded with powerful basses, clever drones and kicks, while preserving the original scent, adding a touch of vocals, in order to create a mood riser.

Time is flying by and we’re back again with the third installment of our SUM series featuring Second State family and friends. The release traverses ten impressive tracks touching on all corners of a vast Techno expanse from the peak time, big room antics of Reform’s ‘Magic Land’, Sinisa Tamamovic’s ‘Moody Day’, and Wehbba’s ‘Unfold' to more dark twisted psychedelic heaters like Alex Rubino’s ‘Frequency’, Alisa Bergwerk’s ‘Back To The Roots’ and DEAS’ ‘Friday Rain. Its been a while since we released a V/A on Noir Music and I only ever compile them whenever I feel I have 5-6 tracks that stand out.
Dark Stars Volume 4 has been 6 months in the making and yes..... I know I am picky with the music I sign.
I hear that on an almost daily basis.
But even though I could pick music from many different artists it still took me months of compiling, testing the music in clubs and at festivals and then putting together the tracks I felt stood out and complimented each other.
The great thing about V/As is that you get the chance to put together a release from artists with completely different sounds and ideas.
Although the sound of Dark Stars Volume 4 is quite minimal sounding overall, it still reflects musicality and great in-depth productions by skillful and experienced artists.
Another great thing about Volume 4 is that these are all artists who make their debut on Noir Music.
I truly love playing every single track from this release and I enjoy watching the crowds reactions around the globe.
I feel no need to get deeper into detail about the specific tracks, as the music will speak for itself.
