Coming in strong after celebrating its first year of existence, the Bella Ursa mothership resumes its journey through the many cosmic layers of its Nebula Aranea series. This series is dedicated to bringing together like-minded artists with a genuine fondness for probing the uncharted worlds between genre boundaries.

Curated with great care by label-head Letherique, this second opus digs deeper into the darker path previously set. Blissfully blending our notorious cinematic touch with a wide array of styles, Nebula Aranea #2 ranges from thundering Electro Body Music to languorous Darkwave and otherworldly experimentations.

We here at Second State are thrilled to bring you our new concept entitled HUB. While most labels these days are doing various artists releases to showcase the overall talent on their label, we thought it would be better suited for both our listeners and ourselves to break the mold and bring you a series of true collaborations. Each HUB release will feature a single artist teaming up with others from the Second State family to create an EP of authentic musical compromises. A place where multiple minds find a harmony somewhere outside their own identity and each collaboration conceives a genuinely unique artifact. With this, there is no one we would rather have kick off the series than the man behind the massive EPs; 'Throwl' and 'Doch', Stephan Hinz with HUB One!

Second track of the EP is Next is 'Hak' with Philipp Ruhmhardt. Together they have already made waves with their tune, 'Doch' becoming an anthem almost immediately since it's release last May. This time they are back with a stormer that feels like racing through a metropolis at warp speed. Each chord stab is a quick, bright flash of color as the shakers and hi hats impersonate the rapid pulse of a speedometer. 'Hak' is a white knuckle ride.

After their appearance on our &#8220;Abilities&#8221; compilation, Steam Shape come out swinging with four shadowy tracks. &#8220;Output&#8221; is up first, with hypnotic electronics clearing the way for grand stabs and melodic riffs over a grinding rhythm section. &#8220;Eris&#8221; picks up from there and whips out the looped-out vocals, as acidic phrases and shattering sub-bass interlock effortlessly with the rocksteady drumset. The title tracks&#8217;s rumbling low-end provides the perfect backdrop for creeping synthesis and tasty, staccato chords which ultimately lead us to the closing &#8220;Predestination&#8221; where we are introduced to frantic claps, unfolding synths and haunting phrases.

The prolific duo of LowKey &amp; Kardinal are back on phobiq and have stretched the boundaries of their unique style once again. 
The title track&#8217;s mysterious vocal sets an eerie tone with synths rising from the underworld, dark washes, and huge, menacing stabs. 
The more stomping &#8220;Skywalkers&#8221; is up next, where looped-out vocal snippets lead the way alongside mind-bending effects, all which culminate to a lengthy, almost euphoric breakdown.
