AZA (DJ/ Producer and label owner) a self-taught artist born in California, is proving to be a standout component within the next generation of rising Techno artists in North America currently based in the Midwest. 

Tapped to perform throughout the United States where she has shared stages with artists such as Green Velvet, Alan Oldham aka DJ T-1000, Stacey Pullen, Gene Farris, Hannah Wants, The Yellowheads and more.
She has released on some of the  most authentic independent labels the circuit has to offer.

 AZA draws an influence from a diverse collection of sound ranging from Classical music to her Carribean music roots. Growing up on the traditional sounds of her heritage and singing in operas in San Francisco since the age of 12 fused her unique sound. 

Later in life she fell in love with techno music whenn she attended her first Movement festival in Detroit, Michigan. AZA is well known regionally, in the Midwest region of the US for being a dynamic selector in House and Techno music. She is constantly on the move sharing her electrifying energy behind the decks with audiences across the region.

Some of AZA’s following have quoted her sets as  being“soul moving”. This is exactly her intention. Her goal is to spread love through music across the globe for the rest of her existence on the planet! She is just getting started. 

Currently, she is in the studio working on an EP that will be released on her own imprint Soundbeing Recordings ® this summer.  You will find AZA playing at coveted and well known midwestern venues such as The Leland Club in Detroit, TV Lounge, and Primary Club in Chicago.

From that moment on AZA has been even more inspired to continue in her craft of DJing and Producing! She has much more in store for her audiences.

This 6AM Guest Mix was mixed at AZA’s home studio in Northern Kentucky on professional decks facing the private woods surrounding her home.

Even while surrounded by nature she imagined a crowded
warehouse dance floor at peak hours in front of her while 
mixing. This mix is for the dance floor. It is hypnotic , raw and full of surprises! A perfect mix to get you up and moving.

From the third wave of DJs in Medellín emerged Julianna, a versatile selector who since 2007 has been an important figure in the development of her hometown's electronic scene, making part of different , relevant and important projects during her, almost now, 14 years of music career.
She is an interdisciplinary artist who combines mixing, music production, illustration and activism in order to create new horizons for the electronic music communities in Colombia and Latin America. Artist of the Medellin record label Insurgentes and one of the funders of ECO and Latitudes, two platforms highlighting the regional scenes on a creative and political sides and with a feminist perspective.
She likes to dive in on her dj mixes creating narratives, always taking risks that go through different genres. Her latest release alongside Matias Aguayo on Cómeme Records 'Que si el mundo' , it’s a small taste of her current and future work on sound design and music production.

Sonic Safari hits double digits in style with its 10th release, LaDeira EP, the first in a series of slow to mid-tempo deep ethno-organic house collaborations between label boss BiGz and his trusted studio partner rBert. Together, the duo carves out a sonic world where hypnotic grooves, ancestral melodies, and organic textures intertwine in perfect balance.

The title track, "LaDeira", is a deep and spellbinding journey infused with Andalusian soul. Built around an undulating duduk rhythm and a tight groove that radiates calmness and serenity, its charm lies in the delicate, middle eastern inspired Ney melodies that weave seamlessly through the mix. East meets West in a warm embrace here, as the pair deliver an intricate production that is both spiritual and therapeutic, inviting listeners to lose themselves in its meditative flow.

On the flip, "Sierra Morena" channels the rugged mystique of Spain's legendary mountain range. A rich tapestry of earthy percussion, sun-drenched guitars, and atmospheric pads sets the tone, while subtle ethnic motifs give the track an unmistakable organic edge. Where "La Deira" looks inward in reflection, "Sierra Morena" gazes outward to the horizon, its rolling groove and evocative sound design capturing the spirit of travel, nature, and timeless landscapes.

D'Marc Cantu or DMC as he is sometimes known, started working on Acid house in 2000 after meeting fellow artist James T. Cotton (JTC). By melding his love of Acid house, experimental noise and his background in percussion he quickly started creating what would later be coined as "Jakbeat". 

In 2005 Cantu and JTC formed 2Am/Fm releasing 3 floor banging albums and several songs on Ghostly International’s sister label Spectral. In 2006 he teamed up with Traxx & JTC to create X2, releasing Primitive Cypher on Relief Records from Chicago. 

Since 2006 he has worked on MOS and Crème Organization making numerous Detroit and Chicago inspired tracks.
