Chilean resident in Croatia after surviving many years in Barcelona. He has spent almost 20 years dedicated to electronic music and now towards more experimental sounds. It all started in the north of Chile in the year 2000 after graduating as a Sound Technician in Santiago de Chile he then started as a DJ in many different events (Upspace). He was one of the musical pioneers in the north of the country where he explored sounds from Techno, House to Psytrance. In 2003 he moved to Barcelona where he absorbed and acquired all the wisdom of the city and in 2006 KRAFTOPTICAL was created and was the foundation of the label started by him in 2011. With almost 70 releases of producers from all over the globe he started editing his own material and in 2013 he produced his first album "Future Elqui" with great response, especially in more experimental circles of the circuit. The EP Secrets soon followed along with 2nd album "Contact Interstellar" which was produced in Melbourne Australia. EP Astronave was then edited in 2018 which achieved a great audience especially in his country of origin Chile and in several other new directions.

Croydon's Chris Reed AKA Plastician is the main man behind the brilliantly experimental bass label Terrorhythm, which has so far released tracks from Joker, Stinkahbell, Macabre Unit and Chrissy Cris. Crossing the boundaries of bass, Plastician is known for his ability to blend everything from hip hop to techno to experimental beats and bass music, but all the while representing a UK tinge to his set selection. His recently released 25-track album, a compilation of brand new remasters from his old 'Plasticman' days can be bought <a href="http://bit.ly/1yO81IT">here</a>. The sonic outcome of Gábor Tokár's alterego Ficture is a collage of various sound sources, ranging from field recordings to analog synthesizers while keeping in mind that literally everything around us can be a potential part of music. Sound manipulation and resampling of self-recorded audio had a big role on Tokár's debut “Roads To Everywhere” released on Lemongrassmusic in 2014, Sound Color Vibration described the EP as being “as soothing as it is intriguing”, while Funkadelphia called it “meticulously electronic, yet strikingly organic”. Tokár's other works include various cooperations as a session musician for bands, being a music producer and sound designer of different art projects, animations and collaborations in a wide range of styles.

Gabor made a very short stop in the city of Gent and finally we found  the perfect occasion to invite him to contribute for our weekly Sunday evening radio show.  What you hear in the next hour is a gentle downtempo mixtape, sounding like velvet to your ears.

Good news! We'll be releasing a beautiful LP from Unknown Mobile next month called Daucile Moon. 

Daucile Moon, which follows @unknown-mobile releases on No Bad Days, Normals Welcome and Young Adults, started four years ago in Vancouver when Levi Bruce was recovering from a broken toe and collecting MIDI files he found in an old geocities archive. It was finished earlier this year in Montreal with help from Mike Silver, AKA CFCF, who added plaintive guitar to complete the album's placid and stargazing style of ambient and downtempo music.

The album takes its name from an old, obscure Canadian jazz song that Bruce describes as "pretty but also with a serious amount of melancholy," which could also describe his new record. In the vein of Pacific Rhythm label-mate Khotin's standout New Tab album, Daucile Moon comprises drowsy beats and spaced-out loops, referencing the pinnacle of early '90s chillout and ambient while infusing it with the dazed sound of Canadian electronic music in the 2010s.

Bruce's process in making Daucile Moon was long but leisurely. He took the melodies from those MIDI files and moved them over to his analogue outboard setup and then back to his computer, creating a digital-analog hybrid that sounds as pleasantly worn as a dog-eared novel. Live instrumentation, like Silver's classical acoustic guitar stylings on "A Windless March Ouest," mingles with occasional dance music references like the subtle acid squelch of "Ravers Sojourn" or the hazy breakbeat of "Oenology."

The album was inspired by various happy memories, from sharing wine with friends ("Oenology") to a dog that Bruce met ("Simone Can't Swim"). The result is a patient and personal record that highlights the best qualities of Bruce's previous work as Unknown Mobile, with his distinct style of melody and soundscaping set free from kick drums and the dance floor. It's telling that Bruce originally sent the record, at first called Melancholic Songs For Dogs, to his parents and two grandmas—this is beautiful, relaxing music whose appeal is universal.

Daucile Moon will be released digitally across all platforms and on limited edition cassette tape available through our online store, Bandcamp, and Seance Centre on July 14, 2019.
