Today we’re presenting you “Neagah”,  a DJ from Constanta, Romania, which is also the home town of our label. His style is one you cannot easily compare. Eclectic by nature within his sets, he plays a mixture of dark songs with deep grooves, and a handful of playful, uplifting tracks, with an often existing touch of experimental flow which really impressed us.

Neagah has decided to become a DJ in 2018, being deeply inspired by the atmosphere which a party posseses and the exciting sounds of the minimal genre. As of this summer he has been one of the main DJs playing at Club Molotov in Vama Veche, Romania, being always present within the lineups.

Ambient pads and granular textures unfold into a pulse-driven groove. A four-on-the-floor kick anchors the rhythm beneath a pulsating bassline and shimmering synth layers. Melodic fragments loop with restraint, evolving through stereo bloom and tonal decay.

Vocal samples are sparse, reversed, and vocoded—used as spectral accents rather than lyrical anchors. The structure is cyclical, shifting through phrasing variations and dynamic lift. Breakdowns dissolve into ambient haze, while drops reintroduce rhythmic clarity with crisp percussion and filtered synth swells. Vlad Ioachimescu is a DJ originally from Ploiesti, Romania but currently living in the U.K.

He discovered his passion for music since he was still at a very young age, but as the years passed, Vlad listened to so many more different genres of music until one of them really got to his heart! Ro-Minimal music touched his soul while he was attending electronic music festivals!

Vlad has shared the decks with many DJs both in Romania and in the UK, some of these DJs are Herck, Somesan, Sorin Simon and many others!

His style of hyping up the crowd and giving them what they needed at the right time has brought him a lot of attention and many collaborations! We are sure that he isn't going to stop here, there's much more coming from this passionate artist!
