The minimal that we love [ Mix ]

After a short break, we return with a beautiful mix by Sható, one of our favorite Russian producers, this time bringing a special selection of his own productions, straight from the goodies crate.

We invite you to step in a maze of complex rhythms, gloomy atmospheres and gummy basslines. Without further ado, we'll let the music speak for itself. Enjoy the ride!

Here is a little about me,

Born in Brazil and raised in California, Lauro Martins was introduced to dance music at a very young age due to his father owning a night club in the 1990’s. Lauro started mixing and producing Deep/Tech House now finding himself submerged into the world of the Romanian Minimal sound. Lauro has many releases on smaller labels, but is still is working on breaking trough with his original sound. He uses a mixture of vintage/new-school analog synthesizers and drum machines in his productions, giving a unique soul to each track that comes out of his California studio.

It has been almost a year to the day since Heerd furnished us with their free track ‘Departure’ and what a year it has been. The pair have most recently appeared on Jay Bliss's Stomping Ground imprint and their deep brooding grooves are firing on all cylinders. The duo’s music has always hit the right notes with the DJ’s that matter and it will come as no surprise to hear that Raresh, Arapu, Sepp & Nu Zau, and Alexandra regularly spin their tracks. 

Heerd’s slick, super balanced style is a perfectly weighted masterclass in musical programming and their DJ sets are equally nuanced. With events only beginning to return to the world we have a feeling that it won’t be long before you are dancing to one of their tracks. Until that day comes we present our next edition of InSession with the guys themselves.

Since Simbioza Records released his debut EP in early 2019, Pattern Tusk has remained self releasing and sharing his inspirations with a small following. Naturally gaining attraction from friends, few that would go on to road test many unreleased tracks from 2019 and 2020. Over the last year Pattern Tusk has collaborated with various labels, including the release of his debut LP on Tzinah records at the start of 2021. With exciting plans and releases soon to come, Pattern Tusk is beginning to find his groove. Here is a blend of some his newer work in the form of an own productions mix, showcasing the studio hours of his last couple of months.

Madura ha sido parte de la escena underground de Malmö (Suecia) durante varios años y ha prendido fuego a innumerables pistas de baile a lo largo del camino. Siempre trayendo una selección de pistas sólida que consta de ritmos minimalistas mezclados con un house profundo y estimulante.  El sonido de Madura es poderoso y juguetón iluminando todos los lugares, y junto con su personalidad salvaje y vibrante en el escenario, es conocida por crear una conexión musical con el público, haciendo que cada uno de sus sets sean especiales.

Con todo esto, no ha sido sorpresa ver a Madura con su estilo único frecuentemente en clubs y festivales por toda la geografía de Suecia y Dinamarca. Entre sus actuaciones más especiales se cuelan el Backyard Sessions Festival en Malmö y el Ven Siden Af en Copenhague. Madura es también una de las creadoras e impulsoras del colectivo de house "krux" con sede en Malmö, que se centra en la promoción de artistas femeninas y la creación de experiencias de pista de baile de alta calidad.
