It's the end of June. Most birds are engaged in breeding chicks or the chicks have already left the nest. There aren't many forest birds who sing anymore. I find Icterine Warbler singing in the black alder forest. At some point, Wren will join him. 
Recording contains sound that sounds like white noise. The air is no longer crystal clear like the mornings of May. Wind in the leaves, the insects and maybe my new pair of em-172 microphones are contributing to this. From time to time there is a knocking sound, these are two trunks of trees that are pushed together by the wind. The photo was taken exactly where the sound was recorded. I believe there is some kind of crepis in the picture

An exotic diversity of birdsong fills an open pine meadow in Northern Thailand.

Beginning very quietly in the pre-dawn, you will hear the last nightjars and owls calling distantly. Gradually the dawn chorus begins, washing over the landscape like an approaching wave. Francolins, cuckoo-shrikes, minivets, barbets, woodpeckers, bulbulls, prinias and many more may be heard calling near and far.

A breeze whispers in the pines, and to conclude, you'll hear the animated chattering of Chestnut-headed Bee-eaters as they swoop for insects in the golden light of late afternoon.

This is a dynamic recording that will transport you to a unique habitat rich in birdlife.

We travel across the huge Canada, from the east coast to the west coast and from the north to the south American's boarder to capture the spirit of this fantastic country and his wild landscapes : 
infinite forest and boreal forest, huge lakes, montain rivers, torrents, ocean, plaine, alpin tundra, mountain range, cave, and also cities environment. 

During 3 month we had captured quiet soundscapes from gigantic boreal forest only populated by birds and squirrels. We have led to the end of the north road, to the edge of the Saint James Bay, where the ice winds of Arctic meets the tundra and the end of the boreal forest.
We went to the discovery of many lakes and rivers that characterize this wild country. We have cross the gigantic plains of Manitoba to join the Rockies mountains and the British Colombia. 

Face to this wilderness, we did not forget the cities and its humans : in Montreal and Ottawa we have captured many atmospheres : market, urban park, street and pedestrian area.
