PAIJATA — a monthly show on London’s Netil Radio — houses Freddie’s explorations of the corners of ambient music, exploring the touch-sensitive side of the umbrella genre. @fh_1138

/// Spiritual healing through music is a practice as old as music itself — at the furthest depths of music’s meaning lies strength in collectivism, the bandage on individual and shared trauma, the desire to connect with that which binds sentient life. 

Spiritual healing in electronic music is just as intrinsically tied to the relatively modern mode of production, and there are a number of tangential and parallel threads which, when pulled gently, eke out a story which can be told forever. Some find this in the thud of rhythmic club music, while others look for esoteric sounds in the constellation of so called “ambient” music.    

This collection of music and recordings showcases in particular various aspects of spiritual ambient music from artists in and from the Czechia and Slovakia region, interspersed with frequency tuned music for healing and relaxation from global artists, and also frames within the picture some music which fits in neither category of description, yet also somehow both. It aims to stir the ancient within the listener, granting an opportunity to open the mind. ///

Dj Kazpa has been on the scene since 2005. In his selection he moves mainly on the border of reggae, jungle, hardcore and various branches of these genres. In the last ten years he has been working mainly with audiovisual art and experimental/ambient live sets. He is a part of the phonon~ crew and Auxig collective. The mixtape for the swarming project combines a recording depicting stove heating with a selection of vinyl alternating between 90s ambient and traditional Japanese music.

Sound and performance artist working in the coinciding fields of music, film and contemporary dance. Konstantin Bessonov's work bears a close tie to classic minimalism, whilst building on contemporary compositions and postdigital productions alike. In his live-performance he explores the enigmatic shift between modes of silence and it's emphatic meltdown. He is running the Hamburg based music label STOFFE, a platform for sound, art and experiments.

Primary noise - Music for plants
The project is collaboration of two musicians Anton 3_a (electronics) and Pafnutiy (alphorn, trumpet, French horn). 
The concert with plants was recorded on February 17, 2022 in the cultural center Korpus - an iconic space of cultural Minsk.
The place, which had ceased to exist by that moment, and the plants that, as it were, took over the space, as a symbol of the fact that the place, which flourished, began to overgrow. People left, plants took their place.

Anton 3_a connected contact mics to the plants and wind instruments and mixed them with a sounds of the space itself. The sound of a new place was created, the time of which was short, the story sounded once. It was the first live performance of Primary Noise.
