The Natural Disaster

Founded in 2005, what began as a college studio project evolved into a forever mutating band of sonic chaos. Under the reigns of Jack Sinisterr (formerly of The Chaos Legion, Alice's Wonder, Revolution), the purpose of Phork has always been to be a genre bending cluster of audio intercourse. In 2005 the first single, "Destroy it Yourself" was released to the internet as an industrial/metal crossover originally recorded as a final project for a college sound engineering class. In 2008, upon departing from Alice's Wonder, Jack reformed Phork and released the "Get Phorked Up" EP. This EP was an Industrial based product featuring tracks influenced by Metal, Hip Hop, EDM, and even the Spanish culture staple known as Reggaeton. A few very intimate shows were performed until Jack stopped the project to form The Chaos Legion. After a few years bouncing within the metal and electronic music genres, Phork was reformed in 2013 and signed to Miami based label, Fauxpilot Entertainment. Although a few band members were promised to be hired by the label to fill the ranks of Phork, it was ultimately decided that Jack Sinisterr would have to be the main writer and performer within Phork until the debut album, "Beer and Loathing", was complete. What you hear is the culmination of a person's frustrations with being signed to a label that doesn't know what a bass player does.
