"Bertram debuts on Dutch cult label Pinkman Records. Fueled by nostalgia, 'Lights Out' aims to execute industrial old school dancehall and dub within a raw electronics framework. It combines old drum machines, vintage synths, acid bass lines, Sherman-laced vocals by Bertram and the people in his life, and clever approaches to the creative process and production. He believes in a ''it takes a village" approach and worked closely with label head Marsman to iterate the project. The release is blessed by remixes courtesy of @claws and @chris-mitchell."

On the 16th vinyl release from ELECTRO MUSIC COALITION, Robot Connection #001, an international lineup of producers comes together: the owner of the Orbital Mechanics record label, Maltese artist Sound Synthesis; the Belgian composer Arsonist Recorder (@arsonistrecorder), known for running ZwaarteKracht Records; and two members of the EMC label team, Neonicle (@neonicle) and sin:it:sin (@sin-it-sin).
The compilation follows a unified concept, but let's break it down track by track.

Physical Reality kicks off with a deep ambient groove reminiscent of Brian Eno’s work. It evolves into a classic and precise rhythmic layer, with bass pad textures featuring vibrato effects and sudden breaks in the lead synthesizer’s themes. Secondary parts, including a 303 and noise elements, round off the overall pensive and dark motif, setting the initial tone for the entire collection.

The compilation is infused with a dark technological mood, which results in two main strengths: the sound both energizes and evokes a lyrical mood that runs as a constant throughout the entire collection. Each track offers a unique perspective on the theme, collectively creating a complete ELECTRO trip.

Proveniente de Caracas, Venezuela XIWIRE se incursiona en la producción de música electrónica a través de la práctica de livecoding, generación de música a través de código escrito en vivo. Mente inquieta por naturaleza, programa sus propios sintetizadores y herramientas de producción y generación musical, los cuales combina con cajas de ritmo y sintetizadores modulares. Su sonido ata sus diversas inspiraciones, entre ellas, la música underground de Internet, el metal y la música de rave, buscando la convivencia de ritmos rotos, texturas abrasivas y arpegios esperanzadores, en un constante coqueteo con el ruido. substitute es el resumen de 5 años de exploración musical en la electrónica emprendido como un escape de sí misma. A través de un hilo de improvisaciones en vivo grabadas directo de máquinas, es un intento de afrontar el fracaso con dignidad, comunicar sin usar la palabra, y barajar la posibilidad de la esperanza en momentos oscuros. Sintetizadores frágiles sostenidos por capas de ruido, arpegiadores desvariantes y ritmos rotos, coqueteando con el umbral entre lo abrasivo y lo etéreo. Sintético sin vergüenza, confesional para quien quiera entenderlo.
