Alexstatic is a UK-based Psytrance producer and DJ whose music and performances dance playfully on the boundary between the dark and the light. Although he enjoys most flavours of Psytrance, his main passion lies in creating and finding the funkiest and grooviest Twilight, Nighttime, and Full-on.

Thanks to his parents, he has been engrossed in electronic music from birth, and has been creating music - in one way or another - since he was 8 years old. His electronic music production began with Drum and Bass and Hardcore, before progressing into the UK underground scene with Hard Trance and Offbeat Progressive Trance.

He only properly discovered Psytrance during the first covid lockdown in 2020, but it was love at first... listen? And after attending Boom Festival in 2022, he knew he had found his people.

Since then, he has made a real impact on the UK scene... playing gigs all over the UK and working with friends to organise parties in Cambridge, Bedford, and now his own solo venture in Milton Keynes: Fractal Drop.

The Faders project was established in 2006 by Israel based psytrance producer Or Kopel. He started off playing at local underground parties but his unique style and atmospheric sets soon took him around the globe. After his first big gig in Mexico in 2007, he soon started touring all over the world and has played at major events like Ozora Festival, Hilltop, Antaris Festival, Psy-Fi, Indian Spirit, VuuV, Unity Festival, TribalTech, Groove Attack, Shankra Festival, Psychedelic Cirus and many others.

The first Faders album, called 'Feelings', was released in 2010 and the production flow has been non-stop ever since – unique, psychedelic atmospheres, hypnotic moments, and a high tech approach with dominant bass lines have been the foundation of the sophisticated melodies and stable grooves that make up the Faders sound. 

Apart from producing his own tracks, Or has also done various collaborations and remixes with artists like Astrix, Killerwatts, Astral projection, Alpha Portal, Avalon, and Burn In Noise to name but a few. His pure psychedelic grooves have been a favored element of the scene, and his releases have gone out through several labels like Sacred Technology, Nano Records, Shamanic Tales, VII.

For over a decade, I've been producing sonic tapestries, but it was in 2016 that I experienced an outdoor psytrance event for the first time. Psytrance's vibrant expression of sound and energy became my calling, and the following years became a dedicated pilgrimage to crafting my own contribution to this electrifying genre.

Embark on a journey through powerfully crafted basslines, energetic goa melodies, and intricate soundscapes as I transport you to vibrant sonic galaxies. My music is fueled by a passion for exploration, both internal and external, inviting you to lose yourself in the rhythm and reconnect with your inner spirit.

I'm a psytrance producer and DJ from Cambridge, UK, inspired by artists such as Symbolic, Outsiders, Inner State and E-clip. 

I developed my musical abilities as a keyboard player and lead guitarist before switching to psytrance production, which is my passion. Expect rolling basslines, psychedelic sounds and blistering riffs.

I run two monthly club nights where I live in Cambridge, UK: Transmission, where we play progressive house, melodic techno and psytrance; and God Dropped Acid, where we play all sorts of psychedelic dance music, from psychill, psydub and psytech to progressive, full-on, forest, dark and high-tech psytrance. 

I have a monthly radio show on DMT FM called God Dropped DMT, where I play my favourite progressive and full-on psytrance tracks. 

I've released my own psytrance productions on the Sol Music and Geomagnetic psytrance labels.
