Tokyo based underground psychedelic trance music label since 2005

Tet from Japan is the man behind this project. Jangaramongara is perhaps the best way 
to describe the music produced under this project. The word is an onomatopoeia, which 
means the word stands for the sound that is describes. His first stint in Goa was in 1998. 
Upon returning back home to Japan, Tet began blasting psytrance music at loud volumes. 
His mother’s response to his newfound passion was that the music sounds like gibberish, 
or “jangaramongara”. Jangaramongara has rapidly become a hot favourite all over the world, 
with labels, musicians and dancers alike.

Sound Waves were born in London in 1996 as a Psytrance band formed by me and a dear friend of mine. Many years have passed since then and I continue to make chillout and ambient songs. No AI is been used to create the music.Nicola

Blue Forest is an ambiental, chillout music project of Robert Ovcar, from Zagreb, Croatia. His multidimensional approach to listening and production of music influenced by many genres that he has been involved through years, brought out his specific and original style. A lot of soothing melodies and rhytms combined with futuristic atmosphere gives the very soft touch to the listener ear. Programmed sampled pianos, drums, flutes, guitars, ambient synths and other stuff creates a whole new world that he likes to call… BlueForest.

Vadim Becar, the founder and creator of Insomnia Records began his trance music journey in 1995. Started to collect tracks he shortly became one of the biggest collectors of psychedelic trance music in Russia. From 2000 Becar visited Goa every year, where he tried himself as a dj. Totally made up his mind which direction in the psytrance music to follow, in 2002 Becar established his label Insomnia Records – to promote this kind of music. Since that moment Becar started to release albums and compilations which became popular worldwide, at the same time he presented new label music in his dj-sets all around the world, in: Russia, Goa, Thailand, Europe, Japan etc.
Apart from the label management Vadim is constantly working as a party organizer.
For now Insomnia Records, headed by Becar published lots of conceptual releases, made huge volume of parties with unique musical lineups, also currently organizing Insomnia Trance Culture Festival.

Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. Heres Tom with the Weather.

Behind the musical mysteries of Akasha Experience are a dedicated duo of psychedelic adventurers, spreading their dub infused sonic spores across the aether.

Influenced by world, ambient and sounds in nature, their psychedelic stew has found favor around the globe, with releases on Audio Ashram, FreeSpirit and Dubmission Records, and tours across Europe, New Zealand, Australia and the US

Dubmission Records have blazed a trail of warped woofers since the mid 90’s, when they launched with a trio of bass heavy dubwise compilations. 

In 1996, they kicked off with the Mashing Up Creation album, which featured tracks by Doof, Adelphi and http://soundcloud.com/andyguthrie amongst others. It was reviewed favourably by The Sunday Times, DJ and Sleaze Nation – the latter describing it as “carrying on where original dub hijackers The Orb left off!” It was swiftly followed by Dubbed On Planet Skunk, with stand out tracks from http://soundcloud.com/zion-train, Quirk and Alpha & Omega. The third instalment took 2 years to put together – More Bass Than Space was a double album which represented every spectrum of the modern dub scene, with tunes from artists as diverse as Hallucinogen, http://soundcloud.com/woob, http://soundcloud.com/solarquest, Singers&Players and Tribal Drift. It sold well all over the world, and led to tours of Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and USA.

From 2001-5, the Dubmission crew concentrated more on artist management and event promotion than releasing records. However after hearing Ape to Angel by http://soundcloud.com/pitchblacknz, they decided to bring Dubmission out of “retirement”, as it represented everything and more that the label had tried to achieve.  

Since then the label has gone from strength to strength, with several more releases from http://soundcloud.com/pitchblacknz (Frequencies Fall, Rude Mechanicals, Rhythm, Sound & Movement plus their first two albums, Futureproof and Electronomicon), as well as Seen, Heard and Felt by http://soundcloud.com/international-observer, Make Animals Happy by http://soundcloud.com/warptechnique, Third Ear Audio’s Third Ear Audio and Paddy Free’s Karekare. The crew has also found time to compile two smoky collections for the Japanese label, Wakyo: On A Dubmission Volumes One and Two.

In 2010, to celebrate 15 years of business, they released 15 titles, including new EPs by http://soundcloud.com/pitchblacknz, http://soundcloud.com/warptechnique, Doof and Green Monitor, plus re-issued classic but deleted albums by Bluey, Stress Assassin and Bill&Ben, as well as playing 15 shows around the world and uploading 15 DJ mixes of Dubmission music to download.

The last few years have seen EPs released by http://soundcloud.com/akashaexperience, http://soundcloud.com/quanta-uk and http://soundcloud.com/erssound., two albums and an EP by http://soundcloud.com/deepfrieddub, a collection of http://soundcloud.com/pitchblacknz remixes of other artists and a new compilation series, The Next Mission, designed to showcase up and coming talent.
