I've been listening to all the Halifax promo's for FF, and I only moved out east recently but resided in Grande Prairie AB...where I played shows for Chillier a bunch...Longstory short, you have a very west coast bass vibe...very deep and dark, but also melodic and soothing.

Midnight Request Line was the very first dubstep track I listened to...because when dubstep was just expanding towards north america, and only Caspa, Rusko, Excison, Datsik and maybe a few others were adding distorted basslines to it...I had only been listening to electronic music for maybeeeee a year or less in 2009/2010...and was hearing "Dubstep" and didn't know the vast amount of genre's and subgenres. I was still into Psytrance(Mostly Infected Mushroom, some Skazi, some Asterix...perfect when you're discovering electronic music and you start trying out LSD a few months later.), and I was big into dirty electro, electrohouse, and prog-house.|

My growth as as artist FEELS stagnant, but I know deep in my bones.. It hasn't been.  This mix is deeper than my previous demos but it features 2 of my own IDs (they're works in progress) as well as a handful of artists and friends' work that inspires me to keep going.  There's some storytelling, euphoric moments, moments of dance and liberation.

In the dark we find our light.
