I imagine this as a basic battle theme for a tactical JRPG-type-thing. You're stalking through the sewers under the city with your motley crew of adventurers, in search of a Gelatinous Cube that's been devouring plumbers left and right, when you round a corner and run straight into a group of diabolists and their pet snake monster, looking for a sacrifice for their evil god! You may be able to beat them, but can you do so while preserving enough strength to complete your mission?

A major boss theme for a JRPG, with two parts - part 1 plays when you're selecting commands, and part 2 (starting at 2:12) fades in when the action starts after everything's locked in). The life of a true hero is never easy, is it? At least it brings peace of mind.
