I woke up around 4 AM this morning and couldn’t fall back asleep. My mind was racing — restless, thoughtful, but also curious. The only remedy I know for that state is to open FL Studio, put on my headphones, and start playing with my favorite sounds.

It all started as pure play. No plan, no structure — just a feeling that needed a way out. I began layering some of my most beloved textures, those organic sounds that always help me lose track of time. And then something started growing. Just like mycelium beneath the surface, it began to spread in different directions.

Mycelium became more than just a track — it was a reminder of why I make music in the first place. Not to perform. Not to control. But to get lost for a while, follow a spark, and let something living take shape.

Spring Pebbles
created during a quiet, sleepless night around 3–4 AM, holding little Vincent in one arm while watching some old personal videos. One of them was from a day before – a spring walk in the afternoon sun with little Oliwer, my neighbor’s son, who I borrowed for a spontaneous adventure.

We stopped by a gushing brook, fed by the freshly melted snow, where the dogs tried to jump in and Oliwer found a pipe crossing the stream. He was just about to balance across it while the dogs were in the water drinking.

You’ll hear a snippet from that video in the track – Oliwer laughing, telling the dogs not to swim, and me calling out:
“Nej nej, det där är att utmana ödet – jag vill inte förklara mig för mamma.”
Translation: "No no Oliwer, that’s tempting fate – I don’t want to have to explain myself to your mom."

This track captures the beauty of those small, fleeting spring moments. Melting snow, laughter, dogs, and the gentle rush of water carrying time forward – like pebbles rolling in a brook.
