IF THIS IS! surgiu em janeiro de 2020 no KSA, é a colaboração em formato B2B dos DJs gaúchos Lucio Kahara e Fran Piovesan, unindo experiências e paixão pela música eletrônica. Com foco na House Music e seus subgêneros, o duo explora sonoridades versáteis: das batidas dançantes ideais para as pistas às vibes mais intimistas no estilo bar lo-fi house jazzy, com bpms reduzidos. Seja para movimentar a pista ou proporcionar uma experiência relaxante, o projeto mantém sua essência underground com influências como Jazzy House, Acid, Afro, Disco, NuDisco, Electro, Proto-House, Italo Disco e Techno.

Fran Piovesan, jornalista de formação e profissional da área da moda, discoteca desde 2011. Entusiasta de beats que interseccionam a House Music ao Jazzy, o DJ Fran Piovesan entrega à pista atmosfera Neo-noir com sets de percussão marcante, ritmos latinos e influências de Chicago.

Lucio Kahara aplica seu conhecimento em design gráfico em seus projetos, DJ desde o fim dos anos 90, foi o idealizador da icônica Festa Neon, onde por 9 anos co-produziu e tocou, trazendo importantes artistas nacionais e internacionais para Porto Alegre e fortalecendo a cena eletrônica local. Atualmente também faz parte do projeto Realce! duo em formato B2B junto com o DJ Piñero e também tem outro projeto o HUB onde convida DJs para mostrarem suas pesquisas e apresentá-las através de sets no Soundcloud.

Juntos, Fran e Lucio transformam pesquisa e experiência em uma jornada musical e envolvente, feita para conectar, inspirar e dançar.

Wanting to do things a little differently, Peggy offered to take on our 189th Truancy Volume exploring her more downtempo and chill-out picks. Coming in at just under an hour Peggy works her way through tracks by Erykah Badu, hip-hop classics by Black Star, dub from Rhythm and Sound and low BPM groovers from the likes of Wolf Müller and Larry Heard: "I started making this mix a year ago and have been adding tracks and making changes to it since. Sometimes I really enjoy making mixes with tracks that I usually don't play in club but with the nice home listening stuff I like to listen to when I need break from dance music. It features a lot of my favourite artists, legends like Patrick Cowley, Haroumi Hosono, Larry Heard, Mos Def and Erykah Badu, who are all big inspirations of mine.  The way it has been put together means the tracks are sequenced in a way that is slightly different than how I would put them in a DJ set, and shows a little bit more of my personal music taste than the club-style mixes people have heard from me before.  I hope you enjoy it!"
