Ashes of the Sun is a melancholic and decayed requiem, a journey through the ruins of a vanished world. It begins with an ethereal and enveloping pad, suspended between light and shadow, while the wind blows through the ruins, carrying echoes of something lost.
The beat is subdued and fragile, almost broken, accompanied by distant and reverberated vocal chops, like forgotten voices in time. The deep bass wraps the listener in a spiral of melancholy, while the soundscape slowly fades into silence.
A majestic and inevitable atmosphere, where everything disappears, leaving only the ashes of what once was.

"Dystopian Dreams" bursts forth with an explosion of energy from the very first notes, born from pure instinct, a creation that flowed without filters — raw power, atmosphere, and unrelenting force. A deep and enveloping bass lays the foundation for an intense sonic journey, driving the listener through a dynamic soundscape filled with rich and varied textures. Every element fell into place naturally, as if the track itself knew exactly what it wanted to be.

Tight, precise rhythms mark the pulse, intersecting with piercing synths that strike like shards of broken glass, adding both a futuristic and nostalgic dimension to the track. These synths not only build a dense, immersive atmosphere, but also paint vivid images, a city pulsing beneath the surface of a seemingly ruined world, where every echo tells a story of collapse and rebirth.

Innovative sound design elements weave through the piece, introducing ambient noises reminiscent of wind cutting through empty buildings or the distant hum of abandoned machinery. Each sound expands the sense of space and depth, pulling the listener deeper into the deserted streets of Oblivor, a place suspended between the past and the future, between desolation and fragile hope.

The track culminates in a devastating yet cathartic explosion of sound, an unstoppable force that merges all elements into a storm of emotion and release. It closes with a suspended ending, a moment of silence heavy with meaning, inviting reflection on the inevitability of change, as if each transformation carried fragments of dystopian dreams, visions of possible futures oscillating between light and shadow.

An avid listener and DJ of electronic music for well over a decade, Agora has been a staple in the Ohio Valley Underground scene. His methodical mixing style and deep crates filled with cuts new and old are a testament to how hard he has worked to become the artist he is today. 

His role in helping run C-Side Productions’ “Old Louisville SoundSystem” has not only helped him become a well rounded asset behind the scenes, but it has also given him a deeper appreciation for the sounds that inspire everyone to get up and dance. His affiliation with Lexington, Kentucky based Bassweight Entertainment has also been a vessel for him to grow as an artist and help bring the sound to the people, whether it is through the system, through a set, or both.
