This is the first release of Aqua Recordings with title Shambala Networks - My Life vs. Your Vacations EP in great Ambient / Chill out atmospheres in Buddhism there is a place called 'Shambhala' the 'land of enlightened masters'. (For some it is just a state of mind, i believe it is both. Every Mindstate is a Space, a Space/Place is a Mindstate). I choosed the artist name 'Shambala Networks' for all these places in and outside the Universe , the whole Networking System. 'Shambala Networks is a solo musical project, the first ambient moniker of Oliver Dombi, who was born in Transylvania, on Christmas evening in 1981. In the first part of the 90s Oliver was mostly influenced by Metal and Hardcore Music, later also influenced by Psychedelic Trance and Ambient. He started to produce music in 2001 and made his first release in 2006. In the end of 2006 he sets-up his own label: ADX Records (Audiosex Records). In 2011 he created a sister-label for ADX: Ancient Language Records. ADX was for Trance, Techno, Darkpsy, Ambient (Various Styles) Ancient language is only for Ambient. His ambient works are available (via label-worx.com) on all major digital shops and also released on CD's distributed: Saikosounds, Wirikuta, Arabesque, Beatspace, Cassette+CD on Onzy E Sound. His music as Shambala Networks is oriented into many musical worlds: Nature, Drone, Clinical, Space, TripHop, Chill Out, Downtempo, Experimental, Concrete, Minimalist, Meditative, Soundscape, etc. Aqua Recordings is a part of Elektrik Dreams Music Digital Label. The genre bending, sub rattling, west coast bass slinging Chillage Records is back at it again with it’s 5th Installment of the Crunksauce compilation series. The Northern California based collective has been a fixture in the west coast bass music scene for more than half a decade bringing us delicious bass infused glitch hop, future beats, dubstep, trap and everything in between.

For the first time Chillage Records held open submissions for the Crunksauce compilation, inviting up and coming and established producers to submit their songs for a chance at a spot on the compilation, resulting in 19 tracks of bass heavy goodness from core Chillage members and many new faces adding their own flavor and style to the mix. Chillage Records will be releasing 3 tracks from the compilation a week for the next month a half so do yourself a favor and tune in below for all the bass heavy deliciousness coming your way!

Exactly a year and a half ago, a group of friends decided they wanted to help each other’s musical careers in any way they could, realizing the amount of talent and mutual respect between one another.  We had a shared vision of a world where electronic music was no longer devoid of artistic ingenuity, and thus, WUMP Collective was birthed into the multiverse.  What began as a couple musicians sharing tips and promoting each other’s work, has evolved into a massive family of passionate art-lovers, weirdos, and creatives with a communal focus on improving the world around us in the best way we know how: creating & sharing art.  We have expanded our roster of amazing artists to include several more musicians, a photographer, a few ground-breaking painters/artists, and a makeup artist that blows minds.  While serving a niche community of art-lovers, we continue to dip our toes into a wide variety of different styles and mediums of art, allowing the most avant-garde of artists a chance in the spotlight.

Our mission:

With the media constantly focusing on the unfortunate happenings around the world, it is easy to feel weighed down and like we have no hope in turning things around.  What they DON’T focus on is that for every “bad” thing that happens, there are about 1,000 amazing, beautiful things happening every moment around the globe.  Babies are born, paintings are finished, novels are written, inspiration for a new song pops into a musician’s head, and did I mention all the orgasms?!  

The world is a beautiful place, but it is easy to fall into the traps of society and give up on your passions because you feel pressured to ‘play the game’.  While balance is an important key to inner peace, we absolutely refuse to give up our passion and play by the rules.  We will never stop fighting for our dreams.  We will pursue them relentlessly, and embody purposefulness and integrity in our efforts to do so.  If you are reading this, we invite you to join us on our journey, and we hope that our music and art inspires you to create your own art.  We feel confident that this community will continue to grow and define us as human beings, and we hope we can bring some light, love, and positivity into the world by building each other up and supporting each other’s passions unconditionally.

Today’s release:

On the music side of things, we recently surpassed 2,000 followers on Soundcloud.. something we did not expect to happen so quickly.  Thanks to the love and support from our loyal fans, friends, and families, our music has spread to every corner of the globe (spheres don’t have corners, bruh).  To celebrate this milestone, each of the WUMP Collective artists contributed a song to release in this WUMP 2K Compilation album, making it our biggest, most exciting release to date.

As a label and artist collective, Gravitas has helped cultivate uncounted experiences for passionate music lovers across the world, and as a celebration of five years in this labor of love, the crew has released a compilation to honor a truly noteworthy milestone. The 34 track collection spans only a tiny corner of the label’s massive 100 album catalog, but still offers a healthy slice of the varied styles and artists that have collaborated with Gravitas over the years.
