House, Techno, Psytrance and the dancefloor have always taken me to my happy place. In 2020 I decided it was time to jump behind the decks myself and embark on my journey as a DJ.

Since then, I have had the opportunity to play club gigs around Melbourne and support many talented local and international DJ’s and producers.

When it comes to djing, Techno with a touch of psychedelic is my true calling.

Bush/Psy-tech Producer, DJ - Melbourne, Australia

Aria's musical journey culminated in the creation of Kodama in 2022, a project that explores the fusion of psy and bush-tech while navigating the balance between darkness and light.

Kodama presents a raw, sonic landscape that invites listeners on a transformative voyage, weaving ethereal textures with natural sounds, and driven by deep, pulsating bass lines and dynamic percussion.

Aria has released on Universal Tribe Records, Soliq Records & Frisson Records with more releases out soon on Proponent Records, Another Psyde Records and an upcoming Bush/Psy tech EP "Hear What I Hear" releasing on Magic Hour Recordings (Japan). 

She has played overseas in Japan (Cub Under) and has featured in multiple festivals last year such as Intrinsic Gathering, Electric Boogaloo, a variety of club sets and ended 2024 with her debut interstate set for Initiation in Queensland.

My love for DnB began when one of my best mates 'Aki' got me into the underground Drum and Base scene in Japan where I lived from the age of 16. 
With 17 years of dancing my tits off, and since recently coming back to Melbourne, I have had the chance to head out at my favorite joint MyAeon. Since getting to know the locals, and getting pursueded into jumping on the decks, I bought my kit during Covid, and have gone full speed ahead with my soul lifting out of my skin each time I jump on my  DDJ400s 🤣🤙🏼.

I have to admit this is one of the best decisions I have ever made, and though at 33, it does feel a bit late, but it doesn't phase me one bit!

Huge shout out to all my mates and artists out there, especially MyAeon and the Crew! Because without you, I definately wouldn't have embarked on this amazing journey.

I will be satisfied if I can play out just for 1 night, and since making my first mix I aim to keep working on it and learning more, and one day play it out somewhere 🤫🎉
