Details on exactly who Post Disco are or is - they're keeping their identity under wraps - are thin on the ground, but they've done a fine job here in breathing new life into Cybotron's peerless and highly influential 'Techno City' - a 1984 Juan Atkins/Richard Davis futurist electro jam that helped lay the groundwork for Detroit's subsequent techno revolution. Their edit-with-subtle-extras does a fine job in lightly tweaking the stargazing song for modern dancefloors, wisely foregrounding the duo's spacey synths, delay-laden guitar licks, heady vocals and deliciously squelchy electronic bass while re-shaping the rhythm track to give it a nu-disco friendly 4/4 groove. It's a subtle evolution rather than a revolutionary revision, but all the better for that.

Founded in 2011, Physmatics is a U.K based Drum & Bass record label which has rapidly earned recognition throughout the Global industry, thanks to our many contributing artists and frequent release schedule. To date we have had the pleasure of receiving the UK Number one slot back in march 2012 with Sleeperz (TID D&B World Chart) and two others following consequetively in 2014. Amongst other successes’, Physmatics has received Trackitdown.nets ‘Weapon of Choice Award’ three times running. The main objective of Physmatics is pushing the boundaries and offering a quality product to the Drum & Bass masses Worldwide.

'With the release of their eigth album project ‘Physmatics Present – BEST OF THE BASS – VOLUME II, a balanced compilation of high energy, liquid and techy Slammers from the likes of Nicky Blackmarket, Dapz, Voltage, Tobias & Gappa G, AnnGree, Xeropoint, Section, I-Dren & Future Shock to name but a few contributors. Due for release in summer 2017 anticipation is very high to say the least!
