Rebirth is the name of the current project of Devin Kroes, a California based producer. He began his musical training at the age of five, taking on every instrument he could get his hands on. After being introduced to electronic music production, he shifted his focus to creating melodically driven bass music that uplifts the soul and enlightens the mind. Fusing bubbling bass with rich soundscapes and ancient melodies he seeks to break free from the traditional ideas of genre and transport listeners into another dimension. "The name of this project directly reflects its intention. I want people to truly find themselves through the music and be reborn, walking away with a better sense of their higher purpose." Rebirth - Huasca (Duffrey Remix)

"Ame Nimo Makezu" (雨ニモマケズ) is a poem written by Kenji Miyazawa, a poet from Iwate  prefecture in Japan who lived from 1896 to 1933. 
This poem was found posthumously in a small black notebook in one of the poet's trunks.

*Miyazawa chose to write the poem using katakana although katakana is nowadays usually only used in Japanese writing to denote foreign words. This is because, at the time, katakana rather than hiragana was the preferred syllabary. 

*Miyazawa wrote in the orthography common to his time, where コハガラナクテ (kohagaranakute) would today be rendered as コワガラナクテ (kowagaranakute), イヒ (ihi) as イイ (ii), and サウ (sau) as ソウ (sou).

*"hidori" in "hidori no toki ha namida wo nagashi" is generally taken as a simple typo,[citation needed] as Miyazawa made similar typos in his other works. But since hidori means the daily wages of day laborers in the dialect of Hanamaki, some people believe the true meaning of this verse is that Miyazawa cries out of sympathy with the poor farmers who have to work as day laborers. The first track off of my upcoming album "Slivers of Light". This track, as all of them are on the album, has a certain message and meaning. We all struggle with depression and anxiety and it can often lead to suicidal thoughts. This song is a depiction of the battle that goes on in our mind between our different thoughts.  "One of these days, it will all be over" the first voice says as the dark thoughts set in, the next words are "I said we ain't going to cry" reminding us to stay strong and not let the little things work us up. As the song and thoughts progress, Nas chimes in and says "life is a bitch and then you die", the dark thoughts start to come back and the energy picks up in the song. As we move closer to the end, a pleasant voice says "we cry sometimes", "I want to get to know the scene" and keeps reminding us to "Hold on". The final words in the songs are "nothings going to stop me baby, no no no no" as our mind starts to see why we need to continue on and brings us confidence for our journey ahead.
