Nathan Retro, professionally known under the mononym Retro, is an English electronic, dance music, futurepop producer and DJ from the United Kingdom.

He has produced and written songs for artists and groups such as Tinchy Stryder, Dappy, Melanie Fiona, Conor Maynard, Emeli Sande, Wiley, Wretch 32, Alexandra Burke, JLS, The Saturdays, Katy B and more. 

Retro, a futuristic super producer with many talents (drums, keyboard, bass, guitar) and has quickly built a strong reputation within the music industry, with blending innovative and unique sounds with thumping beats and heart filled lyrics into songs that everyone can relate to.

Adam's passion for electronic music began at the start of his teens, growing a huge CD collection and then buying his first set of decks at 16 years old.  4 years later he had over 2000 vinyl records, 3 turntables, 3 CDJs, 2 mixers, a groovebox, fx unit & keyboard, all interconnected in his bedroom. 

Now 20 years in, he is an established producer and remixer, on labels such as KeepOnTechno, RefinedFormat, PureDopeDigital, Solid Capsule, Vezotonik plus many more. Several of his tracks and EPs have made it into various Beatport charts and been supported by many DJs around the world. 

As Adam has evolved musically over the years, being fully proficient with vinyl and multiple decks, a sound and style has ultimately emerged, encompassing many forms of techno, from stripped back minimal to the darker depths of harder techno & schranz, a purveyor of all things industrial, distorted and acid, channelled into his DJ sets cross-genre sound with broken beats, psy, epic breakdowns, relentless pounding drums and hardcore samples, alongside his own productions and edits. 

With his multiple other alias’s focusing on more niche electronic dance music genres, Adam Element has become the ultra-versatile persona bang in the middle of it all.

I "Piano B" nascono nel febbraio del 2011 ad opera di 4 ragazzi che hanno incrociato, un po’ per caso ed un po’ per propria volontà, le loro strade con l'intento di divertirsi in ciò che più li accomuna e li appassiona: la buona musica. In realtà un primo germe del progetto inizia a svilupparsi già alla fine del 2010 quando Davide Ricci al basso ed alla voce, Alessio Scala e Giorgio Taglione alle chitarre e Davide Ciccarelli alla batteria trovano il feeling, il sound e l’entusiasmo necessari per dar vita ad un progetto ambizioso e difficoltoso: la produzione musicale. Aggiudicandosi il terzo posto al Liri Festival 2011 i Piano B sono ospiti di Silvia Autuori a "MattinaTU", trasmissione mattutina di TeleUniverso. Sotto la guida di Dario Miconi(DAProduction) la band rilascia tre nuovi brani: "Ogni istante", "È lei" e "Male ancora" con le quali hanno partecipato al GallinaRock, al concorso "Thinking about music" tenutosi a Fiuggi (FR) ed al Tour Music Fest superando con ottimi voti la prima fase.Nel 2012, entra a far parte dei Piano B anche Danilo Quadrini alle tastiere ed il gruppo, definitivamente al completo, partecipa all'Hangoover Contest uscendone vincitori. Nell'agosto del 2012 i Piano B registrano la loro prima demo di brani inediti nella quale sono contenute altri singoli come "Lontano e odiato", "Apparentemente" ed "E meno male che ci sei tu". L’idea di fondo del gruppo è quella di trasmettere tutta l’energia e la passione che è propria di ogni brano proponendo accanto ai loro brani inediti anche cover di artisti internazionali arrangiate in chiave power pop.
