SubTerra (BE) is a Belgian underground DJ and producer duo consisting of Fabio Ottati and Kaan Kahraman, both with roots in the historic mining region of Belgium. The name SubTerra, derived from Latin, means "underground", a direct nod to their heritage and the deep, immersive sound they create.

With Italian and Turkish backgrounds, Fabio and Kaan blend their cultural influences into a unique fusion of indie dance, house, melodic techno, and afro house.They give an ode to their grandparents who worked in the mines by digging deep into music’s past, unearthing nostalgic elements and reshaping them into something fresh and modern.

The duo met while studying music at university, where they bonded over their shared passion for electronic music. This connection led them to join forces, developing their signature sound and founding a collective with whom they give their own parties.
