Nosotros tenemos el big pleasure de presentar el remix del gran Dj Braver, artífice de este brillante label, y donde nos acerca a sus melodías clásicas e icónicas, esta vez con una percusión marcada y un juego constante con el jazzbass. Braver is much more than just a DJ. He meticulously chooses music in the contemporary format of each era in which he lives. His birthday was always the perfect excuse to share with his friends the CDs that he had bought with his savings. From the most underground raves to the most crowded clubs and dance floors, it was where DJ Braver made his place in the local Argentine scene.

His goal has always been to share and generate artistic spaces where the protagonists can converse with the audience in the most faithful way, and thus it was through his platform, Maleza, he managed to generate a space of musical communion and contemporary art. His record label brings together artists from all continents in search of an eclectic and particular sound that transmits the stamp of his party.

In Red Eye, eponymous track of the EP, the first thing noticed has to be the jumpy beat,made of a UK vibe with an energetic kick pattern. The track being constructed, severalmelodic details are steadily introduced, dark horns forecast the arrival of a powerfulbassline and deliver the energy conveyed in the tune. The whole is later completed byunderwater (clin-d’oeil like to Hold Your Breath?) or space-like melodies.

Hold your breath is a slow enticing tune, with a melodic air, sprinkled with low end and long horn sounds, which add to the sinister aura of the song. The lead melody creeps steadily around the constant high hats, the vocals arrival during the break and later releasing the tension with a low end drop completed by various details as lazers-like and cowbell sounds further drive the dark vibe in this one.

"Music doesn't go far from the cover art, probably has nothing to do with it, but still has this specific vibe, like it's telling you to go back a few decades when things were less complicated, everything was so unique and whenever something new came up it always left you surprised and wanting for more. When I listen to this track all I can see is the magic of Cartoon Network and you don't have to look any further to see the uncanny similarities between the two. The other thing that struck me was the sound and anyone who remembers one of the most recognizable consoles of all time - SEGA,
will agree with me. This is a song from the past. CN and SEGA both had these weird soundtracks and unique styles, whether it's presented in visual or audio form, there was never any doubt about what was going on. These two left a mark in time and it's always nice to see something so familiar brought back to life, even if it wasn't directly inspired by CN and SEGA. What is exactly that I enjoyed about this track? Well, the first thing that comes to my mind (despite CN and SEGA) is drums, they are so non-binding and loose, relaxing in a way, if you don't want to commit, that's fine. So as the synths, they have pretty much the same effect, they come when they want and they leave in the same distinctive manner. But their appearance isn't exactly loose or chaotic nor it's predictable. They were designed to make you feel that way, and the placement of each and every one of them was well thought through. 
I'm also a huge fan of the sounds that were chosen for the synths and of course for this track. And I'm glad that it wasn't overdone, whether it's the sound of a synth or a quantity of synths, everything is just perfect. All I'm trying to say is that it's not a huge uncontrollable mess, everything you hear and feel is definite. You don't need to think when you listen to this, it simply becomes this lounge song, that you rarely hear in public, that is surprisingly nice to listen to, and you understand it fully, without even paying any extra attention, that's what this song is all about!" - Quixotical Music psychoanalyst Vidas Stanynas.

@quixoticalrecords is a united Argentina/Lithuania record label, music channel and party organizer opened on 2020 by Emmanuel Poulper and Aurum Miles. The main direction of this project is indie & mysterious waves. Drama, sex and dark feelings, never losing groove, oriented to special moments. It is driven by disco and techno influences with EBM flashes and electro pieces.

"QXT001" compilation is a first official release of Quixotical Records. Various Artists album with 17 artists and 13 tracks. It is going to be a great surprise to everyone who is into indie-dance, dark disco and electronic music.

And here comes tribal percusion-type deep electronic track "Ritual Of Shaman" by @andreasrund. Drum machine, acid stuff, intense percusive groove and sharp synthesizer's fxs... all this stuff helps you to move to other dimension and experience the place where shamans communicates with spirits.
