The Revivalists new album, Men Amongst Mountains, will be released on July 17th through Wind-up Records! We have poured a lot of time and energy over last year to craft an album that we feel captures a perfect snapshot of this entity that we all call The Revivalists. These 14 songs have traveled with us over the last few years in vans, busses, planes and boats to all corners of this country and then beyond. For those of you who have come to see us over the past year, some of these could already be your favorite Revivalists songs, and some of them are already ours. We hope to see each and every one of you over the next few months and beyond out on the road. Throughout history, the powerful have labeled changemakers as 'radicals' in an effort to discredit them, and to encourage citizens to fear these changemakers.

Our belief is that only 'radicals' have ever made real, positive change in this country. Martin Luther King Jr., Susan B. Anthony, FDR, and many others were all radicals in their own right. They were attacked as such for championing progressive causes, but they did not let those attacks deter them. In the end, these 'radicals' helped to make massive systemic changes that moved our society forward.

Fast forward to today - activists who are in favor of progressive causes are often labeled as 'radicals' by those that oppose them. The same attacks used against the most important changemakers in our history. This word is intended to divide and instill fear of change. We'd like to flip that idea on its head, and embrace the label of 'radical'. After all, only radicals have ever made real changes happen.

In short - Go ahead. Call us radicals. We're in good company, & we'll keep fighting for change.
