To say house music changed his life is an understatement, 

WILLS is an artist who lives and breathes music as a whole and uses any genre that crosses his path, has had residencies at his secondary school, was a DJ at his own prom as well as Kettfest, and has recieved support from techno giant Cristian Varela and electronic uprisers litesleeper, in which the latter invited him to one of their gigs.

Born William Lakeman, WILLS is an english wedding DJ/bedroom producer who grew up in a small market town in Northamptonshire. At only seven years old, WILLS' parents split up but this did not bother him much as he would visit them both equally.

In 2018, WILLS landed himself in trouble with the local Police Community Support Officer where he was given a warning for cyber bullying. Despite this, WILLS had struck again just two months later.

However, three months later, A county challenge ran by Northamptonshire Police had come to the school that he had attended. For this, WILLS started rapping over a 50 Cent instrumental that recieved great reception and helped WILLS find his outlet and lifelong passion after the same officer who gave him his warning said how good the track was. WILLS would then see this PCSO as a mentor.

In June 2019, WILLS entered the school talent show with the same track to spread the powerful message further, unintentionally winning the award and doing the same thing the following year with another track, becoming the first pupil in the school's history to place first twice in a row.

In July 2019, WILLS' mentor suffered a cardiac arrest and sadly passed away, just weeks shy of winning the first award and DJing his first school disco. This would somehow motivate WILLS to write a tribute song to his mentor and put more effort into making more music.

During the COVID-19 lockdowns WILLS would take the advantage of his GCSE English schoolwork to improve on his wordplay and music production skills. WILLS would then eventually put hip hop on hiatus to focus more on house and electronic pop music releasing five albums from 2022-2025.

In 2026, WILLS is returning to hip hop with a brand new style and high energy DJ sets with live instruments!

WILLS is now a massive supporter of the British Heart Foundation and is keen to raise awareness into what killed the PCSO who mentored him from the talk that they had to winning his first music award. As well as being a supporter, WILLS has volunteered in both BHF stores in the town that he grew up in.


We're a London-based gospel choir commited to bringing the beautiful and life-enhancing sound of gospel to new audiences.  We sing regularly in Anglican and Catholic churches as well as secular settings like The Jazz Cafe and the festivals Greenbelt and the Big Church Day Out.  We share our resources and have a 'toolkit' to enable other churches to explore gospel music and start their own choirs.
