Mixing psychedelia, rock, african and Brazilian folk music and driven by a tight unit of musicians, Tropicália represents a snapshot of Brazilian culture and counterculture in the 1960’s. It’s music that is equally experimental, reflective, vibrant and just plain fun.

10 - Pylon&on&on x Pie Are Squared - The Sequel (Ma3azef Radio - May '21)

The ninth episode of my monthly show on Ma3azef Radio, which originally aired in April, 2021.

This show focused on music made entirely in Milan's Milan’s Studio di Fonologia Musicale, which in its less than 30 years of existence,  was a hub of sonic experimentation that rivalled its contemporaries in Paris and Cologne. This show aimed to showcase some of the music that came out of these experiments under the guidance of luminaries and pioneers Luciano Berio, Bruno Moderna and sound engineer Marino Zuccheri.

The seventh episode of my monthly show on Ma3azef Radio, which originally aired in February, 2021.

Whitelabrecs’ takeover, bookended by songs from the two compilations they released in January with the middle section focusing mainly on soundtracks. The first of these compilations, The Home Diaries, features tracks from all 30 albums released in the Home Diaries lockdown series released in Spring 2020. The second compilation, “Ennio’s Muse”, aims to raise funds to generate funds and interest into an ambitious project called Return to Sea and Sardinia.
