Guitar Work (Post-Rock/Shoegaze...)

Here's the latest thing that I've been working on. It's a full on rock song, away from the more electronic/ambient stuff I've been making for the past couple of years. Still a work in progress though.

My second full length, "Lucciole", is the outcome of my "74 in 74" project (the link is in the header), where I covered all 74 strategies in Dennis DeSantis' "Making Music". It is also the culmination of everything that makes Pie Are Squared what at is.

Elements of every single EP or LP that I've released thus far can be heard on this along with new facets of my music that hadn't been touched upon before. It's equal parts glitch, ambient, noise, drone and rock and yet is probably my most accessible album to date.

So I posted a video of me playing this song last Saturday and the response has been amazing, 12k views and counting, which is insane. 36 Degrees on a Saturday (Rough Mix)

Pie Are Squared...now with vocals! Well kinda, this is my first ever song with a discernable vocal melody, running it all through a couple of vocoders and Soundtoys' brilliant Little Alter Boy. It's shoegaze/dream pop/kinda nice I think and I am planning on doing more stuff in this vein to record properly (hopefully with live drums) & release them in 2017.
