"We Are Building a New House" is a song from the 1950s, very characteristic of post-war Poland and socialist realist musical propaganda. The original was written by Zdzisław Gozdawa (music) and Wacław Stępień (lyrics), and its style is typical of a slow fox. The song was performed by, among others, the Czejanda Choir and appeared in various versions – its message focused on working together to rebuild Warsaw after the destruction of World War II.
