The tenth year of the π project revives the label’s Split Series with its third instalment, Split#3 by Unhuman & New Frames.

This is the second appearance on our Various Artists catalog for both Berlin-based acts, featuring individual and collaborative tracks from the artists.

Infamous for their industrial/EBM-leaning techno signature sound, Unhuman (Manos Simotas) and New Frames (Mathis Mootz/The Panacea/Squaremeter and David Frisch) join forces to elevate their production style even further.

Dancefloor killers for heads of diverse tastes, featuring one solo track from each artist per side, along with three complementary collaborative compositions. Side A showcases New Frames’ fresh-sounding crossover of industrial and dubstep with the track “Dubplate,” accompanied by the hard-hitting collaborative stompers “Commander” and “3rd Eye Cataract.”
On the flip side, Unhuman delivers his own broken beat-industrial techno beast, “Cerberus,” while the release concludes with the final collaborative techno track, “New Force.”

Sounds From NoWhere is pleased to premiere a new Äitee' gem on 'Khoinix'.
French techno producer & DJ, Berlin based Äitee delivers his debut EP, Blue Swarm on Khoinix, featuring six tracks that encapsulate his diverse influences.

The title track, Blue Swarm blends rolling body music basslines with a subtle trance touch. 
'Un Si Long Chemin' explores industrial atmospheres, accompanied by haunting, reverberated speech. 
'HII Forest' and 'Prêcheurs de Vertu' showcase powerful percussion layered with psychedelic and noisy elements, creating a bass-oriented, immersive dancefloor experience.

The EP concludes with 'Kardashev Decline' and 'Antiphore,' two straight-up acid-infused rave anthems immersed in a dystopian vibe.

Premiere: Äitee - Kardashev Decline [Khoinix]

Barro Music Label continues its commitment to the hardest and darkest techno with their latest release, an EP from NX1. We would need a lot of space to describe what NX1 is all about, suffice it to say that this Barcelona-based project by Surit and Samot has been blowing up sound systems and keeping us dancing to exhaustion for years. Under this alias, they've released on premier labels like Bite and Earwiggle, alongside their own imprint, Nexe Records. Their latest offering on Barro features four original tracks plus a remix by Nöle. This won't be the last time we see these artists together, as they've joined forces to launch a new label, Kätte, which has already dropped its first release.
BR1 delivers a powerful post-apocalyptic industrial techno track, dominated by a deafening bass drum and showcasing exceptional sound design. The following two tracks lean more toward straightforward techno while exemplifying NX1's harder, darker side. BR2 is a hypnotic composition featuring industrial, razor-sharp sounds, demolishing bass drum, and skin-deep bass. Just when you think it couldn't get any harder, along comes BR3. NX1 reaches new levels of intensity in this track, characterized by saturated synthesizers, aggressive sound design, and a commanding vocal sample demanding obedience. The fourth track sees them dialing back the BPMs to craft an industrial atmosphere that evokes images of desolate highways and abandoned cities. Nöle's contribution comes in the form of a remix of BR2, highlighting the vocal samples while playing with the rhythm to create yet another dancefloor banger.

NX1 - BR4 [BARRO#011]

Our next premiere is a monster hypnotic from @fluid_music, brimming with crescendoing layers and pulsating kicks this track is primed for peaktime hypnotic vibes. 

BLVSH proudly presents its third compilation, "Illusion(s)", a curated collection of Techno tracks crafted exclusively by FLINTA* producers.

Available in digital and vinyl format, this release is a kaleidoscope of sound and vision, offering four original tracks that explore the depths of Deep Hypnotic and Industrial Techno, created by the talented Fluid, INVERNO, TÖRIA, and Pooja B.

Each track reflects a unique interpretation of the compilation’s evocative theme.

Complementing these originals are four remixes that push boundaries further, blending the pulsating energy of Groovy Techno, the dark allure of Rainbow Goth, and the nostalgic hues of Synth Wave, by Astra Pentaxia, lisa tba, Cyber Witch and GIOSKI.

The artwork by Berlin-based visual artist and photographer Maria Louceiro beautifully encapsulates the essence of "Illusion(s)." With a striking double-exposure image, a haunting fusion of a cloaked figure and a serene landscape in shades of green and grey, it invites listeners to immerse themselves in a world of layered meaning and surreal soundscapes.

This compilation isn’t just music: it’s a journey through illusion(s) and reality.

Synthetik Sounds Unveils Star-Studded Compilation to Support LA Fire Relief Efforts

Los Angeles techno label Synthetik Sounds is proud to announce the release of a powerful 39-track Various Artists compilation featuring an extraordinary lineup of global techno talent. In a time of urgent need, 100% of proceeds from the compilation will be donated to LA Fire Relief Funds, supporting communities affected by the devastating wildfires that created havoc in the Los Angeles area in January 2025.

In January 2025, the Palisades and Eaton wildfires in Los Angeles County burned over 37,000 acres, destroyed more than 16,000 structures, caused at least 29 fatalities, and led to the evacuation of over 200,000 residents, affecting many in the underground techno and house community in our city.

When we asked artists to contribute to a V/A release to help our community, we found ourselves overwhelmed by the amount of support we received.

This monumental release unites over 40 cutting-edge artists, all contributing their signature sounds to this meaningful cause. From techno veterans to rising stars, the compilation is a showcase of boundary-pushing artistry and the unity of the electronic music community.
