But as the years advance he becomes more fixated on the increasing number of friends that have passed on, leaving him to contemplate his approaching fate. He determines that he has to leave his home town to escape the unnerving confines and find renewed hope for his future.

'Children Of Memory' is the latest in Adrian Tchaikovsky's Sci Fi masterpiece.
Earth has failed and the last vestiges of humanity escape the planet to follow in the wake of previous attempts to colonise planets elsewhere in the galaxy. I've tried to fuse melancholy with hope and the passage of vast amounts of time in a spacehip! 

The main guitar is a Duesenberg Paloma put through a modern amp, an octave fuzz pedal and a trichorus modulator. 

The artwork is from Antarik Fox, Pinterest.
