What a year for Lake People so far. Apart from several excellent releases and remixes, like his outstanding interpretation for Chymera's classic “Caprica Burning”, the Leipzig-based act is busy playing gigs around the globe. Earlier this year, he had his first South-America tour, North America is following this summer. His low-key and touching live-performances obviously work excellently. 

We are now more than happy to present the next Lake People EP. Four tracks, no remixes and each of them a pearl on its own. 

“Into” goes a bit in the direction of his hit “Point In Time” On Krakatau, while “Stepwise” and “Come Over Later” reminds of the timeless electronic approach of Acid Jesus or Soylent Green releases on Klang Elektonik. The soundscapish “Trace Missed Call” rounds up the release perfectly. 

Sophisticated electronic music situated between the stools.

What can you do in 30 minutes?
I came into my studio a little over 1/2 an hour ago & thought of a fun game i haven't done in a while. Jam and finish it up in 30 minutes.
Fired up Ableton. Drum rack with 808 kick in channel 1.
Midi out Channel 2,3,4 to Moog, Juno60 & Juno 106 hitting C, with a slight melodic variation on MIDI channel 2 out to Moog.
Let's Jam! 
I record 10 Minutes.
Add extra midi Channel - Drum Rack with 606 hats.
One more live take on top of the whole thing with the 106. Live filter overdubs on the recorded tracks.
While going over it one last time - EQ, comping and adding reverbs , grouping
BOUNCE.
MASTER.

Alessandro Diga, a young talented dutch artist, delivers 3 solid techno tracks for the fifth release on the BergWacht record label. “Phaedra” starts with a great bassline and goes into a warm melodic techno track with a lot of emotions, dreamy synths and it goes along with a clear hihat. The track is able to be dreamy and not cheesy at the same time. “Sonora” is grounded on a rolling bassline and clear hi-hats as well, it goes over in nice effects with outstanding breaks, but it finds back to the starting rhythms. “Dahlia” the hidden B-2 track transmits a deep journey with melancholic feelings.
