Born and raised on the western coast of Newfoundland, Canada, this singer-songwriter got her start at a very early age. Singing in choirs, competitions, festivals and school functions, she got the bug quick. After many years honing her craft, she recorded her first solo full length original work titled Arcana in 2004. Because of illness and starting a family, she hasn't had the chance to do much since. She has been out of the loop for a while and is raising her daughter on Prince Edward Island and is now putting all of her available works out there for everyone to hear. For any who are interested in recording one of her songs, she says: " I am foremost a singer, but becoming a mother has grounded me and I'm strictly a songwriter now, I write for big voices and I have a big catalog, just got to get them all done up as demos... and I am very excited at the possibility of anyone wanting any of my songs. They are good songs, and I would love to give them a home." In 2008, Tammy won a spot on the "Catch a Rising Star" songwriter's compilation produced by the Paramount Group in Nashville, TN. She is currently rehearsing for new live shows and in the process of preparing to record her sophomore album. New single to be released soon to Canadian Country Radio. Currently getting airplay on internet radio in Ireland. Look out for this gal, she's definitely on her way.
