Caleesi is an electronic music artist and co-founder of Circles & Stones booking agency based in Berlin. She has developed her own signature sound that has been shaped by diverse musical influences, ranging from slow tech music to downtempo to deep house. But her influences reach far further and also include artists like Nicolas Jaar, Mira, Lauryn Hill and many more. Originally the song was an improvised, acoustic piano piece I used to play at the live shows. It was born out of a happy accident while we were soundchecking for a concert and Mohna was improvising vocals to the piano. After we had played it a few times live I decided to record it. The song has changed completely from its initial acoustic version.
