Bringing nostalgic soundscapes into 2021 Gleaming Italo-disco & breakbeats on Prom Night’s newly released Heat 84’ Shaquille samples Alexander Robotnick’s 1984 Summer Sweat for the return to his own imprint on Prom Night Records.

Shaquille reinterprets Alexander Robotnick's 1984 'Summer Sweat with nostalgic arpeggios,
hard-hitting basslines, and rhythmic breakbeats.  After several months of persistent efforts,
Shaquille managed to get permission for the sampling from the Italian artist himself, which
resulted in Prom Night's vibrant italo-disco track.

10th release on the label comes from Bogdan from Saint-Petersburg, also known as Krjuk and member of duo Soft Metal. 

Four original tracks on the EP are full of breakbeat influences with acid lines and quirky percussions, filled with weird vocal cuts, wonky and atmospheric melodism. This combination ends up in some finest leftfield sound in the result.

We got Miskotom from Vilnius on the remix bringing dark and mystic vibe to the title track while ИДА co-founders Uninc & Kolomensky make a touch on ‘Sevkabel Acid’.
