Method: This one is done beginning to end on the Zoom R20, still trying to figure this device out. It's somewhat weird to allow the device's drums in ... but I wanted to give it some try.

Narration: An equinox poem, again.

let's call it september
this summer's dusk
this golden twilight
in a perfume flask

as shadows prosper
as colours change hue
the shortening hours
transform us, too

we sip silken drops
of sun-soaked wine
as ambitions collect
near the chestnut tree's spine
enthralled by summer's sparkling embers
we gently give in to gentle september

Note: This is a poetry soundscape, not a song. Thematically, it sits on the vantage point of the equinox that supports the playground seesaw of its development. Structurally, the English sonett has 3 four-liners and 1 two-liner, whereas the Italian sonett (common in the rest of Europe, apart from England) has two four-liners and two three-liners, with a decisive change of perspective between the two sets (which only holds true for the final couplet in the English version). I tried to reconcile the two approaches in this soundscape - not very successfully, maybe ... and yes, I know that the metre is shortened and the rhyme structure adapted to the fact that this is basically half a sonett. This is what this poem is, this is where it sits, this is what it might sound like.
