Precipice

Rummaging through the archives, looking for a specific track - couldn't find it yet - I know I have it. But I came across this ditty and decided to do some mixing work on it.

It's from 1997 I think, original 4 track recording, I was having a blast playing the slide guitar and just felt this vibe coming, decided to record it.

I do not regret it for one bit :)

A song about a girl who had an amazing voice who played live regular on the scene. 
Then she suddenly stopped singing and moved away with her partner without telling anyone.
Because that selfish man didn’t want her to do it no more.
Such a waste of amazing talent.

Recently I reached out to fellow SoundClouder and Vocalist Nadia Selvaggi, @nadiaselvaggi , wondering if she'd like to collaborate on one of my pieces.  And Happily she said yes!  😊

After a few weeks of Listening, she zeroed in on one of my favorite Orchestral Fusion compositions i had entitled - Cosmic Cycles*.  And as i expected, her thoughtful, lyrical and awesomely powerful Vocalaise certainly takes the piece to new Cosmic heights. I'm so thankful for her contribution to this.

Pieter Rotthier - Belgian artist, based in Antwerp. He produces electronic music, a blend of techno, house, ambient and experimental electronics. His music has often a darker or more melancholic vibe, often mixing synths with more organic sounds like piano, strings and brass. It is danceable, but it also serves as a soundtrack for movies, that yet have to be made.
