Entry to Beat Battle BB78 "Track Hybridiser" by NiCKed.
Spin the wheels (Genre1/Animal/Genre2) and try and make something of the blend you have stumbled on. Feel free to spin as many times as you like until you land on a combination that (a) You feel you have a chance of completing and (b) gets you excited about exploring new frontiers. If you feel there is nothing there that inspires you, you are free to do your own. The rules are TWO competing genres blended together with an animal of your choice. You MUST have an animal – this is there to guide you with the character and personality of your track.
The only other rule? You can’t say which genres and animal you have picked – we have to guess. Bonus points for correct answers.

Werewolf Riffs

method: recording guitar (an electromatic in an open tuning it tends to lose), voice, tube xylophone (via contact microphone) and cheap ewi (set to horn, orchestra and shakuhachi respectively) via pedals
narration: in this phase, I am to spend quite a lot of time in such areas (waiting rooms, sometimes reminding of Kafka, sometimes of Sartre, sometimes of Beckett and nearly always reminiscent of the non-places described by Augé and made famous by Eno) - what better is there to do than compose expressionist poetry (and later forget to use a phaser in the far background, not shying away, though, from making old and new impairments part of the process, as usual)?

It's All in How You Frame It

Pieter Rotthier - Belgian artist, based in Antwerp. He produces electronic music, a blend of techno, house, ambient and experimental electronics. His music has often a darker or more melancholic vibe, often mixing synths with more organic sounds like piano, strings and brass. It is danceable, but it also serves as a soundtrack for movies, that yet have to be made.

Quick on the drawing is also a visual artist, making drawings (hence the name), paintings and illustrations. The artwork of the tracks are exclusively made by Quick on the drawing.
