Quadrant Soundscape is the meeting of two minds. Tommy Harrison aka Asphalt Layer & Wilson Logan aka Scavenger. The pair have been playing together since 2014 with each one bringing their own particular sound to the project. Known best for their long running radio show Dub Explorations, the pair play some of the best in underground Dub Techno, electro, downbeat and ambient sounds. When it comes to their DJ sets you can expect them to be diving between their records, CDJ’s and Ablelton , with the goal of creating an immersive deep sound, with rolling baselines and sprinklings of sci-fi ambience. Playing back to back they push each other with every record they play, with the next selection often being picked on the fly, to create some truly unique sets. Inspired by the pioneers of the past, their sound is heavily influenced by German Dub Techno, Detroit techno and British bass music.

Pijãr is a new alias of a guy we have quietly observed unfolding over the past few years. Arikas - electronic music enthusiast, a DJ, an active member of the Lithuanian electronic music community. At the moment, he lives in northern Norway, where together with co-minded people, he supports the movement of the electronic scene. Music plays a vital role in Arikas's life. It pushes forward both, his personal goals and various projects in Norway or Lithuania – developing platforms such as Tamsioji Pusė, Monument, and the „Behind the river“ Dj collective. For the past year, the artist has been in various festivals, playing in Norwegian clubs, closed parties and in his beloved nature, thus gaining musical and educational experience.

Black Wave 019 – Pijãr

This new series explores the links between our consciousness and our current scientific knowledge of what reality is (from the point of view: astrophysics, quantum mechanics, neuroscience, psychology, philosophy). Far from providing answers (it's just music!) ... I'm only sharing with you questions that I ask myself and that fascinate me.

This first episode deals with our consciousness of time. Is it our consciousness that makes time? What does it mean: time passes? does time have a structure? and in the end: What is time?
The vocal extracts (in French, sorry, but I tried to translate them in English in the comments) come from an excellent conference of the brilliant Etienne KLEIN, physicist and philosopher of sciences.
