Ioannis Ntouskos (aka dousk) is an artist from Greece. 

Born in Athens, he completed his classical music studies in 2000 which comprised of classical piano, jazz and electronic music production/engineering.

His influences are mostly of electronic origin, whether in the form of 60's & 70's psychedelia & experimental electronic music, the late 70's disco,breakbeats, the 80's progressive rock/avant-garde scene and 90's Detroit and Italo-techno.

As an avid tech enthusiast (ahemm..nerd!), his past also includes compositions and contributions in computer games music & computer demo soundtracks.

With 2 successful albums under his belt and a 3rd personal album on the way, having performed and toured in some of the best clubs in the world, Dousk is here to stay.
Embracing variety in musical styles, the focus is on producing quality music, be it Progressive House, Tech House or Techno, or virtually anything else under different aliases. 

This has earned him a spot on the global dance scene and frequent appearances in dance music charts.Almost every world-reknowned DJ has spinned a Dousk track.

His music is featured in all sorts of places such as TV & Radio ads, the MTV Music Awards and hit TV-shows CSI, My name is Earl and Doctor Who.

Eric Prydz today unveiled his new Pryda EP. It’s a classic slice of the inimitable Pryda sound that has defined the label’s output over the last ten years, and united the dance community. Pryda 028 is the first Pryda release to ever contain four tracks, and comes hot on the heels of the anthemic Eric Prydz summer hit ‘Liberate’.

These four tracks – Mija, Origins, Axis, & Backdraft - show another side to Pryda, one firmly rooted in the label’s club roots. Pryda 028 speaks to Prydz’ love of dark rooms and late nights, dancefloors with their heads down – audiences losing themselves in a journey, surrendering to the music, rather than demanding another recognizable drop.

Back in March 2014, SoundPark ran a feature on one of the most successful events in Cairo, Egypt. We were lucky to have Hisham Zahran take the helm for the audio and his debut has been one of our favorites from our entire catalog since. Hisham is a master story teller. His sound is patient, intelligent, and soothing. If you have yet to hear him, today is the day to change that. He has played along side some of the industries best tastemakers (Matthias Meyer, Daniel Bortz, Jody Wisternoff, Blond:ish, Sasse & plenty more). His music had such an impact in our offices that we invited him to come to the US for our very first SoundPark Artist Showcase in Brooklyn, NY for his North American debut in September. German by name, Spanish in origin, German Brigante is one of the new generation of Spaniards breaking through and bringing some flair and Mediterranean heat to the house world. He's the man behind this week's excellent podcast, so make sure you scroll down to the bottom of this article to check it out and prepare your body for a workout because it's full of bumping tunes from beginning to end.

German Brigante hails from Malaga in the south of Spain and started to become a well-known name during the last couple of years. He's been on a steady ascent since his early releases and 2013 was the year when he really started to get some traction. In fact, in 2013 he was the 57th most charted artist on Resident Advisor - now, when you think about how many producers there are making house and techno music these days, that is actually a very respectable achievement.

His mix is a great one, and we're sure you're going to love it.

'Metaphysix' looks at the relationship and musical connection between Paris and Ultramajic, with Edgar inviting five ostensibly disparate producers, including Fries and Bambounou (as well as Crystal Bandito, Bobmo, Aden and Creepy Autograph)to translate similar musical ideas through cultural barriers.

To celebrate the release, Fries and Bambounou have curated a special mix for i-D that consists of calibrating of oscilloscopes, and other such wonders. Press play on this mysterious soundtrack where a wealth of new music is awaiting to be discovered.

Chambray's Rub EP made the club go boom; the remixes of Chambray's Rub EP will make the club go bang. On November 17, Ultramajic will liberate four souped-up reworks of the Berlin producer's debut EP, which were helmed by Len Faki, Bodyjack, The Hacker, and DJ Haus. Each contributor adds a distinct flavor to the Berliner's original productions. First up is French rave titan The Hacker, who twists "Ghetto Giants" into a slinky beat decked with pings, bleeps and a touch of sonic haze. Berghain mainstay Len Faki equips "Untitled" with a frog-marching techno kick, twittering percussion, and a breakdown so brooding you can practically taste the fog machine. In Bodyjack's hands, the same track becomes a buoyant house tool with acid croaks and vocal yelps, while Unknown to the Unknown label boss DJ Haus brings dry Chicago percussion to the fore on his remix of "Rub," which pits hypnotic stabs against a melody composed of acidic bass blobs.

Basanov, Kim Ann Foxman, Ejeca, Maxxi Soundsystem and many more, asks these now admired artists and its extended family to create fresh reinterpretations of its stunning back catalogue.
A double disc release of brand new material on CD1 creates new associations between artists with standout results as artists create new remixes of Needwant material for this special project. From the outset Nicholas’ remix of Kim Ann Foxman and Maxxi Soundsystem’s take on The Mekanism find a new groove to these already formidable house records. Mark E’s makes his own retake on ‘We Could Love’ with a Sadness Of Yesterday mix and Robert Owens’ Chaos in the CBD version unearth fresh depths.
Revisiting highlights from the Needwant catalogue on CD2, the label proves it worth with classic house anthems that are still relevant today from Kaine feat Kathy Diamond ‘Love Saves The Day’ (Soul Clap remix) and The Revenge ft. Danielle Moore’s cover of ‘Just Be Good To Me’, as well as compelling material from Casino Times, Kim Brown and Bonar Bradberry of PBR Streetgang.

A Spanish DJ and producer, Dosem has been releasing music on label’s like Technasia’s Sino,  Danny Howell’s Dig Deeper, John Digweed’s Bedrock and Christian Smith’s Tronic.  Definitely a great roster of labels for the producer to stretch out his brand of electronic dance music.  DJing at venues like Bergahin, Ministry Of Sound, Ushuaia, Pacha and Rex Club, Dosem is set to release his new album, “Origin” on Tronic Records this month.
