Songs of Maryjane are just that. Songs. Of. Maryjane.
Named after the singer's middle names and a song by Nick Drake, the musical project features songs written (words and music) by Maryjane, recorded and produced by Ced. Very much a case of his and hers: her words, her music, her inspiration, his arrangements and ideas. Maryjane sings and plays acoustic guitar on the tracks - and some keyboard here and there. Ced (guitar), Steph (drums) and Steve (bass) take care of the rest.
Thanks to the French crowdfunding website www.mymajorcompany.com, Maryjane is working on recording and releasing her first album.

Immédiates et familières, elles évoquent aussi bien la pop folk anglaise des Byrds, de Nick Drake, que l’Amérique de Neil Young et Joan Baez. Maryjane interprète ses chansons accompagnée de sa guitare acoustique, de Ced à la guitare électrique, de Steve à la basse et Steph à la batterie.
